Day 3 of not smoking weed is coming to an end, I just have to make it through sleeping tonight. I've been smoking weed (1g-2g a day) for almost 5 years and it has stumped me and became my dependent. I want to grow into the person I was meant to be. My old goals are not gone forever; I need to keep telling myself when I get down

Keep going. At any moment at any time you can change the course of your life. Act as if. Act as if you are already that person you envision in your brain and heart. If this means waking up earlier, do it. If it means starting a workout routine, do it. If it means connecting with your closest friends and spending more time with loved ones, do it. I believe in you Curt. Believe in yourself. You got this.

When I use in moderation, weed can often give me very real perspective shifts that lead to positive revelations, which makes it hard to write off as something bad I want to quit forever. But history has shown that I can’t use it in moderation, and by the time I’m using every day, the positive effects of new perspective cease snd I just feel addicted. It’s a really complicated relationship for me. I really wish I had the willpower to not overdo it.
@roughtobebufftv5990

I can completely relate. Since posting this vlog I've gone back and forth. I go through spota where I use heavily and overdo it. There are also times when I pick up a little weed and it's a nice change of pace. I think what has worked for me is to not pick up too much at one time or just don't buy it at all. A friend will kick me down a nug and or I just wait to smoke with the homies. I find it's best to just not bring any home and if I do it needs to be in small quantities. This has also helped me save a lot of money. Thanks for watching my vlog Joey create a wonderful weekend.

@@roughtobebufftv5990 thank you for the video and the reply! I have managed to use much more moderately in the past. I think for now I need to quit for maybe a month at least and when I go back (if I still desire to), just make sure I don’t have a lot at a time so I’m forced to conserve it and smoke maybe once or twice a week at most.

@@roughtobebufftv5990ah man, this video was so inspiring and you made incredible points. I was so glad to see the title saying you quit weed. Then I see this comment from you, saying you started smoking again. Less but still back at it. Your comment is 3 years old. Are you still smoking like in this post? Or have you managed to fully quit again? I hope you quit or are smoking alot less and not doing what I do and go through stupid withdrawals, trying to stick to 1 or 2 spliffs a day and my body says it’s not enough. In away I wish I could be the have a smoke some weekends or very very rarely. You know you visit an old friend and they light up. But remembering the first few times I smoked weed being hell, I think that if I stopped weed daily and every now and then, I think it would be too powerful, like the first time and blow my head off and make me feel like I was blasted into space and the world was spinning. It’s funny thinking back but it was scary and not nice in any way.

I started smoking weed at 13/14 years old. I already had memory problems from childhood trauma and stuffing experiences down to the point I could not remember whole years of elementary/ middle school. After starting smoking weed my long term memory got worse. My short term memory has always been pretty good but remembering things from more than 6 months ago was really hard to do. The longest break I’ve taken was 7 months. March 2021 to October 2021. I started to start smoking again for my 21st birthday in October 2021 and Now (August 2022) it’s almost been a year back in smoking every single day and since November of 2021 I’ve been trying to stop again. For real I’ve probably tried to stop at least 7 serious times in 10 months and in August 3rd, 2022 I’ve began to make the real decision to stop again and not start again for at least a year. Not gonna lie, Smoking Weed has brought me fun times, so much creation and art and fun experiences in nature and exciting ideas... but all those things are already inside me, I can foster fun times and creation and art with out smoking weed. Smoking weed has ALSO brought me confusion, anxiety, numbness, doubt, lack of energy, grogginess. If I don’t want to deal with something or I want to dumb myself down from the facts of LIFE I would just smoke and put Life off until tomorrow. One of the worse things so far is being out and about (at school, work, or event) and just waiting and waiting excited to be done doing what I’m doing so I can get in my car or go home and smoke. Arriving somewhere and already be wanting to leave or anticipating to leave so I can go smoke. Like how do I replace that? My brain is has definitely been slowed down to a ridiculous capacity. Doing things I used to LOVE like Science and Math. Now it’s been hard to even fathom the concepts. Or doing something physical like Step Dancing (if you know you know) You have to be fast on your feet and coordination. Trying to keep up I Feel, See, and Notice I’m always two steps behind trying to move fast or be coordinated got my brain working harder than it has been on this ‘slow me down Weed.’ Anyways .. that’s a bit of MY story. I got Inspired seeing and reading everyone’s comments and thought sharing would be good for my Healing journey and Transition into a Sober, Complete, Accomplished, Fulfilling.. LIFE. (Please excuse any grammar or spelling errors I will not be reading this back until after I submit the comment) Bless you all no matter what part of your weed journey you are at. May Peace and Love and Light be with You. ASÉ

@@trxxvis it’s been a roller coaster man. Worst 3 years of my life, if I knew what was to come next I wouldn’t have complained one bit. I wish I could go back to the day I wrote that comment. Multiple injuries, surgeries, deaths in the family, mental issues getting worse, etc. I stalled out and I’m in the same exact place I was 3 yrs ago except I’m 3 years older. I smoked weed pretty much every day since that comment. I took time off of it here and there, stopping for a month completely every now and then. Never fully got off of it. Lost my mind, developed some serious mental problems, depression, can’t blame weed for all of it but I doubt it did me any favors. I pray that u feel better and accomplish your goals. I pray and hope u don’t ever feel the regret and mental torture I’m feeling everyday. I got some work to do to get out of this hole I fell in and stayed in for so long. I have basically been living by all of these concepts the last 3 weeks, eating good, excersiing, cutting out social media and toxic people. And i felt ever than I ever did before, until about a week ago when I started smoking weed (I know it has been doingf this for me for years). It makes me lethargic, I'm not getting my tasks complete throughout the day and really growing as a person because of weed, when i went without it for 2 weeks i felt great. Weed is poison to ambition and to high performance, gunna put it in the bin and start crushing at Life again:)

Just been clean for a week after smoking 3+ times a day for 3 years. Thankfully my diet has improved, but man, I feel great! Sleeping 7 hours a day with clarity beats barely managing 6 and wanting to be high all the time. Day 3 was the toughest, but after that bout of insomnia and a cold sweat, it’s been so much better.

Not the bow and the pow 😩😭🤣 I never had those drugs but tomorrow on 8/1/22 I will be one month free from weed 😌 I’ve been 6 months free from a toxic abusive relationship with my sons dad , but I am eating cupcakesssa right now 😩😢🥴 last night I had to dial the suicide line. So thanks for this info. I’m not throwing these 2 cupcakes and this ice cream away now , but starting tomorrow 08/01/22 it’s a wrap. I’m throwing the leftover cupcakes away . I’m going to get my body together bc maybe I’m the reason I’m so depressed 😭 Thank you 🙏🏽

This is great! I’m 73 yrs old. Tiny woman...do some stretches and yoga. Have fibro and pain and fatigue...but keep gratitude and love inside me as much as I’m able (awareness is key). Worked hard, raised my kids alone...lost my youngest daughter 9 yrs ago (heart disease...in family. My dad passed when I was only 16. Daughter was 37 yrs old...my dad was 44). I used to drink...never did weed or drugs. Drinking made me a social butterfly...life of the party. But I stopped 15 yrs ago. Developed an allergy to many foods and alcohol. It’s a blessing in disguise! I’m older and wiser. I try to eat healthy...not much. Drink lots of water. Hardly ever use my cell phone...because I grew up without cell phones. Didn’t get one until I was almost 50. Too distracting. Can’t take the dinging...so I keep it off. Only go on fb once a week or less. You’re young...but very wise. You got it going on! Thank you for this. I’ve subscribed and I’ve forwarded to my 30 yr old grandson...and a few other grandkids. Thanks for sharing this important message. 👍 Sending much light and love out to you.💫💖. And all beings.💞

Last year i stoped smoking for 1.5 months. After smoking since i was 15. I was smoking about 5 grams a day by my self of the bong or a joint. Unfortunately I relapsed until 3 days ago I decided to quit again. I’m just not feeling good anymore after i smoke i finally see that its effecting my life and health. Constantly coughing to a point where i fell nauseous. I have absolutely no memory left brain is always foggy. I hope this time i make it out

appreciate the vid man. You say you stopped bringing it home, does that mean you would still enduldge socially? I have tried to quit a couple of times in my life.... but ive noticed as soon as im sober for a while and i give in the one time, i almost religiously fall back into it, I'm at a stage now where im getting rid of all my tobacco and MJ... and then the biggest challenge of staying clean, only question is then do i dicipline myself to never touch it again, or do you give in every now and then in a social setting

I stopped buying it and bringing it home. If I'm out with the homies and there's some flower I'll take a couple hits. There's apart of me that enjoys smoking weed so try not to guilt or put too much pressure on myself. What I don't like is when I'm smoking every hour on the hour. Just in a constant state of being high. Good luck on finding your balance puffing bear. Thanks for watching my vlog. Fresh content on my channel weekly.

@@roughtobebufftv5990 yeah I'm the same man... i use to smoke a lot but i changed those ways when i had a psychosis from smoking too much then quitting cold turkey. But even now i cannot have a smoke at night because it makes me so dumb the next day... so i guess ill just have to get rid of it at home, and see if smoking with mates on the odd occasion would be fine, but if im honest it would probably make me go back again... finding and sustaining the balance is hard. but thanks man.

You re still young man, and you ll learn alot about yourself as you grow and mature and things will get better. For me personally, weed always added to my anxiety and depression, after smoking everyday for so many years i started creating a negative perception of myself. Once I stopped smoking all these issues that I built in my head started to fade away. Maybe that gives you an incentive to try cut the habit for abit and see if you get better. Hope things go well for you

I stopped because it started to make me feel sick and wanting to vomit. I don’t know if anyone else here can relate but i over did it and was doing too much high concentrated dabs everyday for years. If you want the health benefits of weed, it’s only possible when done once in a while, or when you really need it otherwise you’re just addicted.

Would you say its okay to exercise to replace the weed? Or is that just putting to much work on your body and mind as it is already having a hard time dealing without the weed ?
@roughtobebufftv5990
@roughtobebufftv5990 4 жыл бұрын
Go with what feels right. If your body and mind are searching for movement, a challenge or growth. Go for it. I find that it's important to invest your spare energy into something. Exercise, reading, a hobby or maybe just hanging out with some good company. The answer is to live your vision. Whatever that person is. Live it.

Cold turkey usually works best for me. And yes I have some irritability and definite anxiousnous. Since this vlog I've started and stopped a few times. What I've found works best for me is to just not buy it. Like junk food. Just don't bring it in the house and I wont do it. I've found smoking socially works best for me. It's when I'm smoking by myself, wake and bakes or smoking habitually every couple hours that puts me in a bad place.
