Money is the cause for the majority of divorces, being broke and arguing will destroy a lot of relationships. I've had money, no money etc in my life...I can tell you, money gives you options, options make you happy.

As someone who has had no money at all and someone who became rich over time, I think happiness all starts with your mindset. If you don't have a happy mind, your life wont be happy no matter what you have or do. You can spend thousands to mask that pain, but it will never go away unless you are truly happy within your own self.

Money makes life easier. It's what you do with it that makes you happy.

Fall forward, strive for your goals and dont waste your time with shit like social media. I know its easier said than done, i struggle myself. I hope i can remind some people that time isnt an issue for nobody. You just have to choose what you spend it on. Choose wisely

Happiness comes from within. You choose to be happy. Happiness is not found in external things. It is your reaction to external things (such as hardship) that often cause your suffering. Take responsibility for your suffering. Look inward. Looking at most people's motive on this channel, which appears to be to make money. Why? You're delighting in the prospect. In the end, it's craving (greed) and aversion to your presently enduring feelings. You delight in the prospect BECAUSE there's an unpleasently enduring feeling that you're wanting to get rid of (escape from). This in itself is suffering. Although things can improve you must find contentment right where you are in the present moment or you will never be content. As is the nature of greed.

Not worrying about your kids medical bills when they get sick, school supplies, toys, your houses, your cars, the list goes on and on. Being broke is a fucking disaster for you and your family, mentally and physically.

I’ve never heard a person that’s built the right kind of business that provides self fulfillment, & makes a boatload of money while the business operates without presence of the owner say that money doesn’t buy happiness. I have seen a lot of miserable broke ppl tho, and ppl that make “decent” money but it’s at the expense of their time, either stuck to a 70 hr/week job that pays mult 6 figures or a business that requires they work that much or their income drops. Been in that position and it sucks. Abundance of money reduces stress (99% of problems i had encountered in my life derived from a lack of currency at that time). Abundance of money (the # varies for everyone) + freedom & ownership of your time = options to buy and do expensive things at your leisure and being in a financial state that you’ll never have to worry about money again = happiness. But also like you mentioned, setting goals and seeing the progression of achieving them is big too. So much fulfillment in it. Plus when take a step back and realize what we have the capability to do with the amount of resources and technology, I get a feeling of gratitude that I can build businesses online without leaving my house

Money may not make you happy 24/7, but the lack of money can make you extremely unhappy. ESPECIALLY when you have a family and children to support. The constant fear of will I be able to pay my rent, will I be able to feed my kids is a major stress. When you are young and have parents to fall back on, so you know if all else fails, you can move in with them or they will help you out when you need it, that's one thing. But as you get older, your parents are no longer there or you will be the one supporting them financially - well knowing you have money and just the feeling of security makes you infinite amount happier than not having enough and fear or not being able to support your family.

I love you dude. You're so genuine about this subject and it shows -- I think it will actually help a lot of people get rid of the stigma of actually valuing monetary success. It's a GOOD goal, you shouldn't ever be ashamed of it. And you're helping fuel people's realization of that fact with a good dose of unbiased reasoning. You helped me a lot on my journey with entrepreneurship. I see you don't really post on youtube anymore and likely wont much in the future so: Thanks bro. I agree to an extent. But it's not a cop out to say more money wont make me happier. If you are 99% happy with your situation of hours and effort to make your living, then obviously is you can get more money for the same amount of hours and effort ya you would be happier but if you have to put in more hours more effort more stress and so on more money wont always make you happier. Just something to think about...

Money will not make you happy when you are suffering over some thing in your life but if you have money you will at least suffer in comfort .

I can tell you this right now. Lambos and living in LA sure as hell would not make me happy. What makes me happy is people. Now don't get me wrong if I had $10,000 right now my life would be a lot different. I live in SC and I'm very popular around here and I know a lot of people and have a lot of very good friends. But If I had a huge house a nice car but no friends or family I would not be a very happy person. What makes me happy is going mudding with about 20 different people on a snowy day everyone trying to get the stuck squatted 2WD chevy shitbox out of the mud then going to downtown greenville in my expensive ass loud ass mustang and getting an $1100 ticket. That is the stuff that makes me happy and after all that going to my friend's house having a bonfire drinking a beer with everyone. Going to a football game and seeing your favorite girl cheer. Watching your friend from another school almost get into a fight because he decided to hit on another guys girl. Lol. That is the kind of stuff that will make you happy, not $200,000 overpriced cars. Going to your back yard of 1,000 acres and shooting a bucket of tannerite with your AR-15 you got from Palmetto State Armory. Stuff like THAT is what will make you happy, and please remember that everything I just said is just a drop in the bucket from all the stuff that will make you happy. Down here. If I were you I would move to the South. The amount of things to do around here are insane... well maybe not for everyone but sure as hell for me.
