She asked if they would pay her and they said no. Had she been getting paid she would’ve brought her family with her. She was stressing the importance of being with her family (twins) because she has an older son that she has a strained relationship with because she was always on the road away from him building her career. But that movie helped to make Monique a historic individual. She's a Oscar winner. That alone should make you want to stay humble and play the game.
