Wow this game is amazing!! Lots of ideas really well implemented. But a bit difficult and stingy with money/skills 😅 still very enjoyable

It really is a great little game! A quick way to get money is at to the entrance to the volcano at 3:30:49. There is no penalty for dying, so what you do is: 1) Hit the save point 2) Power drop through as many golden blocks as you can 3) Die on purpose in the lava 4) Repeat You can collect 200-300 coins per repetition doing this!

It’s a pretty textbook Metroidvania game so anything in that genre would be a good recommendation! A few that come to mind right away are Hollow Knight (challenging), Ori and the Blind Forest (medium), and Disneys Illusion Island (easy)

If i directed the next Wonder Boy in Monster World game, it would be Extremely Unique, the Plot in this new Adventure Revolves around a Cyborg Girl named Codie, who loses her Abilities after a Run in with the Dark Maw, who throws her into a Monster World, now Codie must go & Regain Her Abilities, Destroy Dark Maw & Maybe make some new friends & more in Cyber Girl: And the Journey of Memories. Artstyle is Pixel Art based as a What if Senario where what if The Sega Saturn got a Monster World Game.

It’s a false roof. You can jump or fly up there later. It’s a coin chest if I remember correctly.

@4:00:44 there is secret gray room with a ? on my map above where you dash upwards with the lion. I used the tears to reveal secrect locations. But for gods sake i cant find out how to access it and no guides online so far. Do you have any clue?

Hi Django! You only ever lose the ability to turn into a pig temporarily in this game. Once you get it back, you can go get your last part

It’s a frustratingly small area that you have to hit to open the hidden door. Swim up to the platform and equip the heavy boots and keep pressing up at different points until it opens. Hope that works!

You need the heavy boots which you can purchase from one of the vendors early on!

That’s right! While they couldn’t use the Wonder Boy name because of licensing issues, this game was developed in collaboration with the creators of those games and features remixed versions of the songs (in addition to its own amazing original soundtrack)

Yes! Once you get the ice sword (with upgrades) you can freeze the fireball right below the ledge. Then, you can transform into snake form and go through the opening. You can see me do it at 9:09:42

The only items you NEED to acquire to advance the game are the three relics which take just a few minutes if you know where they are (06:32:01, 07:34:25, and 07:50:35). Since I was going for 100% completion in this run, I had quite a bit to go back and collect after getting the dragon form.

Awful game. You need to spend hours trying to pass simple things because developers decided to make it more complicated. No fun. Just pain. So instead of having fun you lose a lot of time. Got this game on sale for 4 USD and I think 4 dollars is overprice.

The game IS hard and can be pretty frustrating, but its what makes it so satifying go beat!
