I think Apple could do something for everyone, have one of these new shows be monster of the week, keep going with Monarch, and adapt the prequel comics! Boom, everyone is happy except for Doctor Skipper

Im more intrigued with the spin-offs tbh, still hyped on any MV content regardless. Also, Legendary and Apple, kindly consider greenlit O'Shea's Monarch G-TEAM anime plsss!!! The fan demand is there!

Adam Wingard finally open the flood gates for more fantastical elements to be included in the MONSTERVERSE like: THE XILLENS JET JAGUAR HEDORAH DESTOROYAH SPACE GODZILLA ORGA GIGAN MEGALON KING CAESAR and more classic obscure TOHO kaiju like ANGUIRUS to be in the future films.

Tbh glade that the success of Minus One is probably setting a good example to the US and Legendary you don’t need to over bloat the budget just to make a good movie. You can have a good film with lower budget, tbh I wouldn’t just count Godzilla Minus One being one of those examples already GxK is one of those examples now, being a low budget film with a lot of success.

Still hoping for Gamera, Varan, and/or Redosaurus to appear in the MV.

(1:59) I wasn't expecting "Monarch: Legacy of Monsters" to be a monster of the week type of series (I feel like thats more fitting for an animated series like the 98 show). Speaking of Godzilla, we might be getting a live action Toho produced Godzilla TV series.

Monster of the week, will be too costly, but we will see. I do like some suggestions that have been mentioned here such as Hank Marlow & Gunpei, and their time on Skull Island. Heck, would love to see some resolution for James Conrad and Mason Weaver. Did Monarch detain them indefinitely? Dr. Ilene Chen's family (three generations at Monarch), is another possibility for a spinoff.

Godzilla Minus One’s success can change the future of the franchise both in America and Japan forever. The movie is proof that you don’t need a big budget to have amazing CGI. I think Skull Island seems like a perfect place to have more monsters both old and new with CGI that can cost lest. The main problem a lot of other blockbusters face is how too darn expensive they are and as a result began bombing left and right. I would love to see Kong fight the culprit behind the Great Smog of London.

Cool! Regarding monarch season 2 would be cool to see the original titians like mokele mbembe, leviathan, bunyip, and the other titans are woken up when ghidorah does the call, and such. Also spin offs, a titan documentary about the original and know titans. And hollow earth, or skull island.

They need to cool it with the shows and finally give us a decent video game.

They can start with killing off the three young characters off screen or some s*** like that

Already came up with my fan made pre write for the GxK that will inevitably get green lit and my head cannon will be 100% wrong about. If Destroyah is the villain, I want them to pull a Gamera 4: Truth (fan made Gamera film from 2003), where Godzilla dies and a Godzilla junior is introduced and avenged his father. Humanity thinks they have a new savior only for Junior to start intentionally killing everyone too.

I concur completely about the Monarch series, it wasn't a good show, a lot of interesting ideas, good monster moments here and there, but overall it wasn't very good,

honestly im far more interested in the other show's being planned than that monarch crud.

I could not even finish Legacy of Monsters it was so boring. Why would we get a second season? I was expecting monstrous discoveries, not family secrets! Seriously, I treat the show like how PR fans treat Uprising: does not exist.

For those who liked the tone and approach of G14, I feel like we're betrayed since Legendary chose to pander the MCU crowd and marvelize the Monsterverse. Even Kong Skull Island, while not on the level of G14, still was mostly serious and was more of a war movie (or a pastiche of references) as opposed to some goofy, soulless saturday morning cartoon. Not to mention it had decent writing, where as the films to come after were objectively horrendous. No compelling characters (i.e. none on the level of Bryan Cranston) nor basic logic underlying their writing (i.e. crap happens because the plot said so). I didn't watch Godzilla x Kong and I won't be watching any more of their films. I didn't watch the kong anime nor the monarch show. The last film I was (of the monsterverse) was Godzilla vs Kong and I hated it. Adam Wingard is a hack and it shows. He doesn't know anything regarding tone nor character writing. All you have to do is refer to his god awful live action adaptations of Death Note. He didn't understand what made the original anime/manga great and butchered it in more ways than one. I was initially excited for the Monsterverse, since G14 was a decent film and acted as a solid foundation. But upon learning that Gareth Edwards left, the cracks began to show. Hearing how WB planned on making the sequel more light hearted due to fan criticism, I realized what was to come - they'd pull what they did with the DCEU and make the films lighter and more hollow to appease general audiences since the MCU is the standard for blockbusters (i.e. quips, tonal whiplash, vapid, shallow characters, CGI spectacle, etc.). Screw this. And screw any Monsterverse fanboys who tell me "we can have both serious and non-serious films". I want well-written films that respect Godzilla and treat him seriously, not making a mockery in the way the MCU butchers source material and dumbs it down for general audiences, ugh!
