I don’t need a cart being a home gamer but if I was going to get one it would be a slide top like that. The law of horizontal surfaces scares me off from a flip top. At least with that when I pile crap on top I can still get into it.

Dang I love the design of that cart. Really well thought out and that stainless top is super slick. I have a rebranded Montezuma tool box for my home garage with the same lift latch system. Great design and quality for the money.

@@OmarEwert It's a Masterforce from Menards. It's built identical to this shop cart with the exact same lift latch drawer pull mechanism and same full extension drawers. The only thing different are the swivel casters, which I actually like better on mine because they are the toggle-style wheel locks.

I just bought a snappy cart similar to the new cart you reviewed. Was a trade in, a guy used it about a week, 1400.00. Im not sure what model, it works and was a deal. I sold my HF cart, that you reviewed earlier, to a guy in my shop. Therefore i would like to see the new montezuma cart in person, as I would like to get a new cart for my wife. That is a seriously well built box. It looks great as well. I really like the lift up drawer latches. I’m in the market for a box right now and this one looks like it might just be the one. I have been wanting a slide top.

I don’t like that it has multiple 2” drawers. Thinking about it and how I have my box and my cart setup I can understand 2 drawers- one for wrenches and one for electrical/misc diag tools but idk what that third one would be of relative use for? The rest being 4+” is kinda nice but seems like overkill past 4” per drawer. Make it 4 even and take out that 3rd small drawer to put in an extra 4” drawer. And is it 50lbs per slide or 100lbs per slide? Only other gripe I have is I wish there was a cart that could fit the big prybars. Currently mine sits in the space for my handle on my box out in the open. Much prefer to put it in my cart and be able to lock it up easily

Still not the perfect roll cart for me. It is nice but I like the version that has the flip top slides. The six drawers are nice addition to the five drawer body, but I will stick with my cornwell power cart that has so much more room in it and I know has taken abuse from heavy use.

I was able to check one out, if its $2300. Its over priced. The snap on is $2700. The metal to me is thinner than the US General. The guy told me the slides are not robust. Theyre gonna have go back to the drawing board on this one.

@@KoonTrucking "rating"... Guess what? My HF engine crane is rated for 2 tons. My Norco engine stand is rated for 1250lbs. Guess which one is FAR heavier duty? That's right... the Made in USA Norco. I'd trust 4000lbs on my 1250lbs engine stand LONGGGGG before I would trust 2000lbs on my 4000lbs engine crane.

No sponsored, I bought a Montezuma box many years ago (the triangle box) for my truck and really liked them. I’ve bought a few since then, and became friends with those guys and helped them design this roll cart. Just good stuff.

Not even the same cart. That’s a flip top cart not a slide top cart. It only has double slides on the 7” drawer also has the exact same 100 lbs slides just way less of them. Might as well go to the ole HF and buy one of the carts they have with the same specs but more slides! Can’t compare apples and oranges it costs way more to manufacture a slide top cart than a flip top. That’s why HF doesn’t have a slide top as an option. And for anyone curious in comparing the two carts, here’s the link www.mactools.com/products/uc3222dtf-bk And it doesn’t show it is made in USA so I assume it is like many of the Mac tools carts it will have a sticker that says “assembled in USA using global components” meaning they put the wheels and the handle on here in the good ole USA just like I did with this cart in the video.

Where's it made? For $2400 for a roll cart, it better be made in USA. I know it isn't, being a Montezuma, but that's Made in USA Matco and Snap-On territory. When are these companies going to learn that those of us with functioning brains are NOT paying "Made in USA" prices for "Made in China" goods!?!?
