This is the first video in a series where I travel South Africa, fishing everyday, and film the whole experience. We started in the Western Cape, South Africa, fishing the southern Cape coast. The Saltwater fishing in this region is great. We mainly targeted fish on ultra light tackle and managed to get a few species including: White Musselcracker, Cape Stumpnose, Karenteen and Blacktail. Awesome video bro! I am also a multispecies angler. In my last 3 videos, I caught 9 different species... Including one of the most venomous fish in the ocean!

The big hook that keeps the sardine head in place is what normally gets picked up by the shad.....😀

Initially I did include it in the video but decided to take it out because I've seen too many people keeping undersize fish and thought showing people the rig would just not do fish conservation any favors.although I'm sure you can work it out from the videos😉....also I have replied to one of the comments here with a detailed description ....(hint,hint😂) thanks for the comment and if you haven't yet don't forget to subscribe so you don't miss out on more videos....😉

I try not to give away the fishing locations out of respect for the local fishermen.....you know fishermen.....they protective of their spots....but it is in a small town close to Stilbaai...😉Thanks for the comment and if you haven't yet feel free to subscribe so that you don't miss out on more videos...😀

I'm glad you enjoyed it....😀I originally included the trace in detail in the video but decided to remove it from the video as I've seen far too many people keeping undersize fish and figured I wouldn't be doing Fish conservation any good....but because you asked and hopefully those people don't read this comment I'll explain it to you here: I take a 3-way swivel and 6/0 hook and attach it to my main line using the same knot. on the other two sides of the 3-way I add about 15cm of line and attach a small hook on each. I attach a sardine head to the main hook to give distance for casting and small pieces of fillet on each of the smaller hooks....I hope that helps...and if you haven't already don't forget to subscribe so you don't miss out on more videos...😎
