@@aliskiron4778 India claims they landed south pole, but the rover landed at a latitude of around 69 degrees south, about more than 600 km away from the polar region, so anyone except Indian media says India landed "near the south pole". What India claims is like anyone lives in the southern hemisphere on earth is living on the south pole, though we can say they live near the south pole, it just makes no sense. On the other hand, the south pole thing is confusing, Indian media makes the whole thing like they all did by themselves, or that position on moon means anything special, which is just a plain random spot on the front side of moon. Without NASA's help, ISRO itself can not make their rocket even not to explode on pressing the launch button. Also it's not India which found water on the moon, NASA did. India acted like contractor to deliver NASA's equipment to lunar orbit.
