As far as leveling up memory sports a much bigger mind sport to emulate is Chess. Chess players also naturally would like memory sports. A good way to bridge the gap and attract chess players to the memory world would be to create a memory category to recreate random branching chess openings played between computers.

Hey Nelson, I am disappointed with this interview. It was not organized at all, you were totally all over the map with your questions. It seemed as though Mr. Foer was the one giving the interview. No meaningful questions about how to improve your memory at all. Instead, it was about how you guys' kids are doing. I thought I was eavesdropping on a private phone conversation for 27 minutes. I was hoping for something more powerful from two known memory champs and authors in the sport.

Sorry to disappoint. Josh hasn't practiced memory techniques for years now, so I'm not sure what kind of memory technique insight you would have liked to hear from him that isn't already mentioned in his book. Aside from that, you're right. Maybe I shouldn't have called it an interview, it was really never intended to be one. Really just a conversation and catch up. Appreciate your thoughts though. I'll keep it all in mind for future videos like this, if I do them.
