That's nuts. My first and only memory feat was memorizing 50 numbers in front of an audience (major system + memory palace). I'd only practiced with 20-digit numbers because I had one small "palace" ready and didn't want to risk cluttering it with practice images prior to the show. Happy to say it went well and I've always felt awesome about it. Until now. I can't believe she learned and applied a system to 1000+ numbers in one go, live. Respect.

I would love to see videos of the process you take to learn stuff, similar to what emily did here. Being able to recite stuff is cool, but the excitement really comes in with seeing the process and the 'hero's journey' of you memorizing it.

@@bernardmithi4718 He has a bit on the subject but since he also sells classes teaching the techniques, the stuff he previously uploaded never felt like the most thoroughly explained versions, sadly.

Can’t believe I only just found this! I’m a memory athlete (hey Nelson) but I also play a lot of Geoguessr. I memorised the North American phone codes using the Ben System!
@NelsonDellis17 сағат бұрын
Hi Katie!! Didn’t know you were into GeoGuessr too. So fun. The US area codes are super fun and easy when you have a 3 digit system for sure!

With another account I've been following your channel for a long time now and learn so much from you. My reason for commenting with this account is due to my question. I generally don't see anything in my mind's eye, all I see when my eyes are closed is black. I likely have aphantasia. I am aware that I dream and at rare times I am aware of this I know I have some sensory concept of it, but outside of dreaming I can only recall two times I've seen anything in my mind's eye, both times were spontaneous, once while a friend was hypnotising me and once when listening to a hypnosis cassette tape (that is how long ago the experience was). On this channel I'm commenting from I have a video: 'Dan Jones MEMORISING A DECK OF 52 PLAYING CARDS & Telling You How I Did It and What I'm Doing' where I memorize a deck of playing cards and explain how, but also at about 1h31m i explain how I'm doing this when I'm not seeing anything in my mind's eye. I feel that what slows me right down is my struggle to visualise. So what I'm curious about is memory techniques you might know of that could be better than I'm trying for those who can't visualise given how most techniques seem to revolve around visualisation? This seems to be a topic not really covered and I've not seen it covered in any of the books I've read on the topic...

Obviously a video promoting a product. However, I've used Lions Mane and L-Threonine for years. The only issue I see with this product is the price. Shit is crazy expensive for what you get out of it.
