Morbid Angel's finest hour. Trey and Tucker sharing vocals, Rutan on production, Trey and that fucking otherworldly, absolutely evil solo. Whole album kills, really, but this track in particular is something special.

Obtuse guitar solo. Nuclear. The moment the mirror flips, the edge, bright as you think god would be, reflecting the last light on what you perceive to know, but gives way to expansive, growing, infinite unlight.

Secured limitations You created this thing you call sin A guide for the undisciplined sheep Through the pain and denial the pleasure reaped A freedom contained within a shell And all that's without you call hell You scorn our existence Unclean despising our ways Shall the unclean come and infect you For our ways, disheveling your hold And the random perplexing the fled Behind the walls of concrete, they hide Secured limitations From uncertainties the god-mind knows And from the nothingness, all the wines flow The affluence, the-mother's gift But you can't, through the concrete You scorn our existence Unclean despising our ways Shall the unclean come and inflect you For the heathens have chosen a different light And the vision of the all through the inner sight For the freedoms and prisons are in the mind Secured limitations From the uncertainties the god-mind knows And from the nothingness all the wines flow The affluence, the god-mother's gift But you can't see, through the concrete

Seriously can't comment enough for the solo. When it's alone it's atonal it makes little sense. Combined with the rythm section it's the best thing I ever heard. Pink Floyd would be like this if they where that heavy...these 2 minutes will live with me forever

This whole album makes me feel like our world getting consumed by this cosmic force with a disregard for everything in it's wake, humanity and the little bubble we live in cast aside and we live the rest of our lives witnessing the gradual degradation and degeneration of our world as we forever succumb and corrupt into an incomprehensible alien future, an ungodly distortion

Yes man, honestly Morbid Angel and Death Metal in general has some of the greatest, most profound and intellectual lyrics. I have always appreciated the linguistic IQ these bands exhibit in their songs. It's not just the music, but the songs gives you something to think about as well long after they are done. At One With Nothing is another great song with that idea... "Omniscient are the eyes that see beyond what we choose to see". It's nice to see others who appreciate the conceptual side of Morbid Angel. Cheers man.

Visions of the end of the world... a black hole opens and the starlit sky gives way to abismal darkness. The ground around me starts heaving and in the distance the city that I used to know so well, starts being sucked into a vortex, buildings come apart like toys, trees are ripped out of the ground and ascend into another vortex... all this happens in an unsettling silence as only the screams of millions can be heard in an insane symphony. The kingdom of God is now over and his angels cry tears of blood...
