My problem with him is that he seems to lose SO much potential without the epic relics In a lot of other champions the epic relics are good but not necessary but I don't feel like that's the case here

What I like about Morde is that he actually has a learning curve for his deck, and the payoff is immense. For Elder Dragon, you play big units and obliterate the enemy turn 5-6 with leveled ED if you're lucky. If not, sucks to suck, you get aggrod. While Morde lacks early sustain, his level 2 paired with his champ spell is insane. Also if you find some way to print him, which isn't hard since he has Chronicler of Ruin, generates Indestructible every (second) round and Mist's call, but it's pretty unlikely that you can actually print him since he usually levels by the time you play him and you win next round by draining the heck out of the enemy with all the revived units.

Guardian Angel feels really good as Mordekaiser's 3rd relic. You can let Mordekaiser die more to further his level up condition. You can also use it with deathless to print extra Mordekaisers. It's easy to get value out of it too, because you can just have Mordekaiser challenge units until he dies.

Inheritance seems pretty cool, I did manage to win fights with it, really helps if you can get Overwhelm on all units but otherwise can be pretty clunky to work with 🤗

Biggledust Stash is really strong on Mordekaiser. Your revived units count as created so all of them get +2/+2. It's also nice for Shackled Ghasts. Of cause it's an epic power so it's not too easy to get but if you see it you might want to snatch it over quite a few other good powers.

I would also add "stabilize" and "explosive entrance" as powers to watch out for. Creating a duplicate of Morde allows you to use "indestructable" on ephemoral copy and get multiple, permanent Mordes on the board. There are lots of interesting interactions that become possible when multiple Mordes are on the board, and they are quite fun.

The only annoying thing of this deck is the card order on the board. If you revive 4 or more deathless unit, morde revives them and still triggera the deathless effect sometime erasing mordekaiser itself, i wish a cul swap the order of cards in the board. Anyway great guide as always! Keep it up!

Voidborne is a fun relic for him too. His follower have a bunch of good keyword for him to choose and Voidborne is "when ANY unit dies", combine with build-in challenger, it feel like he pull some little annoying elusive, bang!, elusive morde. P.s. love your channel Spicy, cheer! ❤

Deceiver's -crown- *crest is really good with mordekaiser. You can start free attack when he is leveled up

I cam back to the game years later. I played it when it just launched, then stopped for some reason, now I'm back at it. Amazing game, but I'm extremely bad with card games, I remember getting destroyed by my friends in YuGiOh. So I'm trying to clear this PvE content before I get into PvP, but I'm stuck and can't progress, I have to complete missions with someone else than Jinx, and I can't. I have Morde, Lux and Yasuo and I get destroyed with everybody. Since I like Morde the most from them, I need to learn how to play it. I need to watch somebody playing so I can learn what I'm supposed to do, tricks and all.

I tried Morde on the current weekly that kills and revives units. It was horrible because my board kept getting filled with stunned units.

would you ever do a video talking about best powers/support for each champion? not ranking every single one but just notable power that are stronger, such as lurk with poro king, fleeting dagger with jinx or swain as a support character for jinx

Morde's starting deck is missing self-slay spells. Namely, Hate Spike is almost an insta-pickup whenever I come across it in the store. Since his revived units have such little health, it's incredibly easy to get blown out by overwhelm units, and self-slay based removal is essential whenever these 1HP units get challenged to save them (or to revive them after getting Morde on the board). Relying on luck to draw Death's Grasp just isn't enough, so his revive on self-slay ability just feels like an afterthought in PoC whereas it's the build-around condition in PvP. His powerful ability is reviving allies that you slay, whereas his kit is more built around units that revive through deathless.

Watching this because all I get from vaults were Mordekaiser fragments. I'm 10 fragments away from 3 star-ing him LMFAO and I didn't even use a single wild fragment investing him

Another problem I've experienced with him is that he almost has *too* much value. It's very easy for too many allies to die on the board and not have enough room so some get obliterated. This requires a bit of learning to achieve since you may lose some powerful units and keep worse ones if managed incorrectly. That said he's still very powerful 🙂

Playing this champion into zoe has to be one of the most infuriating and unfun experiences I have ever had the displeasure to experience in this game

What I hate about morde deck is very hard to close the game in early and late.. his deck peak at the mid game which sucks considering most enemy deck specially asol adventures peak at mid game

With well setting up, you can have 6 Morde on the board 😂

Paywalled by epic relic. Just add money to make the champion viable.
