MORE BOOST LESS POWER FORD 6.7??

2 жыл бұрынMore Boost mean more power correct ? Not always , today on the channel we test a prototype Ford 6.7 VGT drop in turbocharger and since it’s BIGGER we will make more power? What follows boost pressure and can hinder making power gains?

Boost is just a measure of restriction. Volume... Now thats where the power is at.

I’m having the same issues on my 16 wirh factory turbo. My drive pressure measure 2.3/1 boost vs exhaust pressure. How do we fix this without swapping to a non vgt setup?

If it’s maxed out , I personally would go with the new Calibrated Power stealth drop in !

I bought my truck to tow….taking away the vgt is counterproductive

Is it safe to constantly run with the solenoid unplugged? When i get on it my boost gauge will hit 40psi like nothing and at about 30 psi it will really get up and go but once its at about 40 seems like it falls on its face.

The Drive pressure has to be through the roof! No sir don’t drive it unplugged not healthy on the engine.

@@POINTBLANKPERFORMANCE is that bad i havnt had any real problems with it besides the common vacuum pump leak which happened after i let it sit for a couple weeks and started driving and started getting white smoke after letting off heavy acceleration, so i did the ccv reroute and that stopped the smoke out the tail pipe so now it just hazes out the reroute hose, theres no excessive blow by either out the oil cap before hand but it is kinda heavy out the ccv reroute hose but every truck ive seen does the samething

We do sir but haven’t tested it to give feedback on power and pressure !
