As an Old-School Disney fanatic, I've long pointed out that the company's transformation into what we see today began (at least in tiny fits and starts) from shortly after it's founder's death. As long as the Nine-Old Men were in charge (alongside their first-gen pupils like Don Bluth) the company survived pretty well with both critical and commercial successes and disappointments through what I would say is incorrectly called "The Dark Age" of Disney animation in the 1970s, the vision, values, and pax-Americana that defined its origins left largely intact and unmolested. The films often struggled to have the clarity of characters and story that Walt could laser in on and bring to fruition through the storyboarding he was legendary for, but they still advanced everything good and right about Walt's vision of America. But starting in the 1980s, socialist-tinged corporate money men (because the Ivy League has been a wretched hive for the likes since the Frankfurt School took over Columbia University in the late 1950s) got hired onto the company to run its financial side, began going around behind the back of Roy Disney and Roy E. Disney (Roy's son and Walt's nephew) and started doing things that Walt would have shut down immediately. Stuff like launching Touchstone Pictures with the company's money, which made unambiguously anti-Disney R-Rated fare. Combine that with the retirement/death of the Nine Old Men one by one and Don Bluth's frustration with the development-hell stuck Black Cauldron and its massive Ralph Bakshi styled break from Disney tradition that resulted in him and his team (including Gary Goldman) upping and leaving the company, and the people who replaced them began the slow transformation away from what Walt had envisioned for his studio. The first generation of these newcomers were thankfully reverent and respectful of Walt and his work, so that the likes of John Lasseter, Joe Ranft, Mark Dindal, Rob Minkoff, Kevin Lima, Glen Keane, John Musker, & Ron Clements, did everything they could to keep his dream alive, but in retrospect, even The Little Mermaid and the other films of the Disney Renaissance were a warning sign of things to come. Proto-feminist themes in The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, and Mulan. Muddled anti-religious themes in the Hunchback of Notre Dame. Anti-Colonial themes in Atlantis: The Lost Empire (Kirk Wise was involved in the most egregious of these examples), et cetera, et cetera. But all of this was kept to a minimum, and even a screaming-bleeding leftist like Jeffrey Katzenberg (who donated to and got started Barack Obama's Presidential Run), had the common decency as a fan of Disney to keep his personal politics out of the films he funded and produced as a corporate manager at Disney and later Dreamworks. This all came to an end with the death of Roy E. Disney in 2009. Roy E was the last direct link in the company to Walt and the only relative of the family still working within it (rather than an heiress making retarded leftist pro-socialist statements while sitting on a pile of money her grandfather created). It isn't an accident that the last two cel-painted animated films of the company were the Princess and the Frog (2009) and Winnie the Pooh (2011), both of which Roy E. Disney oversaw the creation process of. From that point on, the second and third gen of detached, more-ideologically left-wing hacks would take over. Joe Ranft died in a car crash in the mid-2000s, John Lasseter was ousted over (all too familiar) accusations of female-staff-harassment, many of the Disney alumni of the Renaissance either left for other companies, retired, or migrated into "consultant" roles, and the new kids hired on as creatives and pumped out by the School of Cal-Arts (now thoroughly corrupted by the Frankfurt School's Pedagogy) now had the mindset to do what we see today: openly make their films into modern neo-Marxist agitprop. A friend's dad worked as an animator there for years. Both parents families left Mobile for Cleveland and New Jersey in 1960. His family left for California in 1968 because his father was hired by Disney. He said that growing up around Disney was great because the environment was conservative and family oriented, just like at home. He loved to visit his father at work, during the summer, because he'd get to see so many stars having lunch in the commissary. My friend's dad knew things had changed in the late '80s because he saw two young girls that were just sitting in the commissary, looking hungry. He offered to buy them lunch, which got him in trouble. The girls contracts had weight clauses in them that would call for their immediate dismissal if they went over them. His father was told that the only reason that he wasn't fired for overstepping his authority was because it would look bad to fire a black animator.

I used to be an avid Disney fan, my home is still littered with old VHS, from Snow White all the way to Lilo and Stitch, plus a couple of more "recent" ones like Tangled and Wreck It Ralph. That all changed with the postmodernist, openly Disney-hating monstruosity known as Frozen : a movie so openly against everything that made Disney animated features so great in the first place and one of the first to openly push for "THE MESSAGE". Then came the even more openly woke Zootopia, followed by trash like Ralph Breaks The Internet, Frozen 2, Raya, Encanto, Strange World. You name them, all of these filthy, sanitized, uneventful, politicized mouth pieces deserve to crash and burn. Which they were as of late. Yet Disney is still churning out garbage like Frozen 3 and Zootopia 2 next.

We'd have boundless amounts of free energy if we could harness the power of the speed at which Walt Disney is rolling in his grave
