Thanks so much for your advice. I’ve had planters for a couple years now. It’s not too bad now but it’s still there. What helped them most was getting a Dr. Scholl’s plantar fasciitis shoe insert. That helps a lot to get it to go away

Great advice about how to treat plantar fascia problems. I had a tear in my right plantar fascia near the toes nearly five months ago after over extending it on my toes.. Now l am developing some strain pain under my left foot l guess because l am putting to much pressure on it. I suffer with flat feet and weak arches so the method you show makes sense as not to over load the foot. Over stretching can re aggravate the problem.

I have plantar fasciitis from where I’ve been walking around on a bad knee for over a year. I also have a tibial nerve entrapment so, the whole bottom of my foot is numb. It’s a nightmare. I just turned 44 yesterday and am miserable. I’ve had to quit my job because I can barely walk most days.

Hi there. I noticed that my foot with PF pain is actually MORE flexible than my other foot without PF. Do you think that perhaps my injured PF might be OVERSTRETCHED? How can I tighten my loose PF? Thanks in advance.

It depends on what you mean by the "foot" is more flexible. i.e. Is the arch more flexible resulting in a flat foot? Or is the ankle and calf more flexible on that side. It is quite possible (and common) to have foot pain from overstretching rather than a stiff, short plantar fascia. It's just a matter of finding out what structures are stiff and which ones are stretched. I have this, it's a stabbing pain right in the middle under my right foot, it comes and go, but It only comes back when I walk bare feet on hard ground, or sometimes at work when I'm walking all day, I only buy shoes that is design for people with plantar fasciitis, good shoes along with calves stretches always helps take the pain or anxiety of getting plantar fasciitis pain away.

Glad you've found some things to help. Agree that good shoes and stretching your calves are helpful. This may help with the barefoot walking along with the calf stretches.
