★ RULES ★
-If a pokemon faints, it must be permanently placed inside PC Box
-Can only catch the first pokemon encountered in each route.
-Must nickname every pokemon caught (will be named after someone in House Fruit)
-Every wild pokemon encounter, static pokemon encounter, trainer pokemon, TM's, field items and abilities and are randomized
-No pokemon can exceed level of next gym leaders highest level (totem or captain for USUM)
-3 Items used in-battle per battle, unless a mon faints then item usage resets in that battle
-All Important Trainers have increased Pokemon count
-All Wild Pokemon Can Call Allies
-Can Decide To Take A Called Ally For Encounter (cannout purposefuly wait for Pokemon to call ally)
-Force Fully Evolved Trainer Pokemon At Lvl 40
-Ultra Necrozma Won't Be A Wipe
-If we white out/black out, we lose.
-Each encounter is paired with each other making them "soul linked"
-If one person fails to catch their encounter or knocks it out, the other person forfeits the encounter as well
-If one persons Pokemon in a soul link is put in the PC or knocked out than the other linked Pokemon must follow/share the same fate
-No repeat of primary types across both parties (1 pokemon pair may break this rule however)
-No pair may share the same primary typing
-Flying Pokemon may have either of their typing declared for their primary the moment they're caught and cannot change (since every flying type pokemon has flying as secondary rather than primary typing)
-Randomized fossils can be used as an extra encounter in the route the 2nd fossil half was found (both players will need to find 1 fossil for this to come into effect)
-A wild shiny encounter can always be caught and made into a new pair

I’ve been watching Mr fruit since early 2015 and I don’t think anyone else I’ve watched comes close to the amount behind the scenes effort, grind, editing, and dedication this man puts in… especially when it comes to Nuzlockes. If i remember correctly there was one nuzlocke that the save completely crashed 3/4 of the way through and he straight up regrinded the entire game to get back to where the previous episode ended at off cam.

Roost takes away the flying type for that turn. That’s why your charge beam was weaker half the time. It was going from 4x to 2x.

love seeing fruit go the extra mile with the post recorded footage btdubs fruit, the reason you were doing such varying damage on the pelliper is because roost for some reason removes the pokemon's flying type for the turn it used it so charge went from 4x to 2x

The reason the Aegislash did so little damage at 1:13:00 was because it's in defense stance, so its defensive stats are its highest. Usually, with its ability, it swaps stances when it uses an attack, which then swaps its defensive and offensive stats. Had it been offense stance, it would have done more.

Late comment, hope you can still see this Mr Fruit: there are some routes in this game where an ace trainer will fight you and give you a TM after, but he’ll only fight you after you beat all the other trainers in the route. Not necessary but it might be nice to see if there are any good setup TMs/toxic/protect that either of you don’t currently have that could be super useful for the E4! Good luck to you both, it’s been a long year so the victory will be worth!

watched the whole series, i remember when fruit encountered kyogre and it transformed on him, ive heard fruit talk about getting an ability capsule every episode, i had no idea it was named after me until it died, i usually tune out and check my phone or something when they naming pokemon because i assume its never going to be my name

Just started the ep but I gotta say you are the best Fruit. After you said the bottom screen footage was lost, I would've been happy if there was nothing but that monkey banging the cymbals gif on repeat. Going though all that effort to give us a better viewing experience is very much appreciated. It reminds me of one of your old solo lockes (HGSS I think?) where you lost your save and redid the game for us.

You find Necrozma in the white ultra wormhole, then after defeating it, the white ultra wormholes contains Ultra Beasts, their worlds are completely different from Ultra Space Wilds and all have their own names.

The wormhole surfing was what I hated the most about playing this game casually on release. The gyro was horrible and it never seemed to work properly. Took me hours as a kid to get to the right wormhole for necrozma

So fun fact: Huge Power and Pure Power are the exact same ability. The ONLY way they are different is if another pokemon obtained the ability in battle (trace, entrainment, etc) Huge Power would give them 1.5x attack, whereas Pure Power would give 2x attack. If its on your pokemon naturally however, there is no difference. Both give 2x attack.

I want to point out the irony of the best ghost type legendary pokemon setting up primordial sea, which is PRIMAL Kyogre's ability, which is the main reason you sent out your PRIMAL Kyogre, basically tricking you into killing the pokemon you only got to use for 10 seconds.

1:56:50 It's using roost, which removes it's flying typing for a turn, which means the charge beam is alternating between x2 and x4, depending on how recently roost was used.
