Through 31 SHL games, german defender Moritz Seider has 65 hits (5th in the league at this time). These are some of them.

What I love the most about this "kid" is how fair he is. None of these hits are dirty as far as I'm concerned. He stays on his skates all the time. Elbows are kept low untill the followthrough, so he doesn't seem to hurt any of these guys with more than the sheer morale hit.

@@8JFJK8 I think another important facet of keeping Seider in the SHL is adding RHD Troy Stetcher. Now they have a quality 26 year old free agent added to the roster and probably will be in Detroit for awhile. A quality addition just by being patient.

No one is ever going to need to remind this kid to play the body and not the puck, lol, seems that is his default setting, though he is really good at reading and breaking up plays as well.
@mils0r3 жыл бұрын
It's really not when you actually see him play, that's why his physical upside is so special. He was more known for being a gifted puck mover and reader of the game with greath D positioning. Then he added all this in his SHL time. German kids benefit from the DEL not being the best league, so he could play a full season against men before getting drafted and when you do that at a young age, you have to get by without being able to steamroll everyone. He's going to be a complete player no doubt.

WHAT A GREAT PICK!!! 👍🏼 Seider was definitely was the best defenseman in the draft and when its all said and done, he might end up being the best overall player from that draft class. My blackhawks selected Kirby Dach 3rd, and Im not disappointed at all, but this kid is a special kind or animal.

This kid is starting to get noticed by even the casual fans around the league. Taking the league by storm next season. As a wings fan I've never touted a prospect as highly as I do for Mo. I project him to be a top 3 dman for his entire NHL career. If he's like he is now at 19, he's only getting better, which is scary for every other team.

The red wings have two of the best D men in the SHL with Seider and Albert Johansson and they’re both under 20 years old. The future is bright as hell on the blue line. Add 2018 pick Jared mcisaac who unfortunately has had to deal with injures the past few season and a few more d men not mentioned And then you got Jonatan Bergen, Lucas Raymond and Joe Veleno up front to be added and things are looking great. I’m sure Yzerman will probably package some trade up with current players and prospects in the future for an elite forward or defenseman. And who knows who they add at the 2021 draft. Things will be looking so damn good in a few years or so. 🔥🔥🔥🔥

@@DirtyBeefCurtains Tyler Wright was hired in EDM about 10 minutes after being replaced in Detroit. Svech is getting some great looks out on the ice. Another goal in a sniper shot last night. I bet teams wished they had claimed him off of waivers in January. Doubt he would pass through with some glimpses of hustle he has shown on his shifts. I think Cholo is a done deal, out with the influx of new Dmen coming aboard.
