Morocco... difficult authorities, great people!

We didn't know what to expect, and still it was different ;) The authorities are complex but very friendly, and the locals are even outstanding the Portugese in generosity. We don't understand why all the sailors in the Mediterranean stay on the European side...

The reason the Moroccan authorities were very difficult with you guys is because there is a lot of human and drug trafficking going on between Africa and Europe in that very same area where you guys docked. As far as the drone, prior to arriving to Morocco you have to register your drone and permission to use it on Moroccan soil.

TruthSeeker yes, it's quite logic that they are strict on boats. But the system is not really consistent 😃. That's what happened with the drone indeed, we got it back when we left :)

@@sailingmessenger8125 marokko heeft andere wetten en veel privacy, controlle is normaal, ik moet me als Marokkaan ook 30 keer legitimeren zonder boot of auto gewoon lopen op straat en de politie vraagt steeds het zelfde dingen heel irritant is dat inderdaad

Hi, I think the European authorities are more difficult when a Moroccan boat wants enter to Europe, we need Visa, Euro currency and Colorful hair :)

Because of the corruption and Morcco doesn´t fulfill the EU criteria and requirements

Welkom in Marokko, wij wonen hier inmiddels 3 jaar eind volgende maand en dat bevalt uitstekend. Ik weet niet of jullie op de middellandse zee blijven , maar mocht je de Atlantische oceaan opgaan richting de Canarische eilanden kan je altijd Mohammedia even aan doen, als je daar zin in hebt natuurlijk verder veel plezier in Marokko iig.

Als je nog veel landen in en uit wil even vragen of ze netjes willen stempelen anders moet je te snel een nieuw paspoort omdat hij vol is.

Yes a very long time ago! It is great that place exist outside of normal time. Change is slow there.
