Hi ty for this tut! Btw.. would u be able to make one with floating particles? Im making an audio visualizer and I need the particles in my background. I guess like floating dust.... or something of that nature.

Great demo, thank you very much. I was trying to get the positions of the particles as they morph. I expect them to be time dependent and I assume the ones to take are the ones from the keyed particles isn't it? well I am able to get the keyed particles positions of the intermediate object but there are no time steps nor they get updated. Is this possible at all? Thank you very much for your reply gridVectors = [p.location for p in bpy.data.objects['Cube'].particle_systems[0].particles]

I believe its easier when you set the nondoingany to render "none". They easier for the viewer to see stuff, they wont do anything. Having them visible is a bit distrscting. Great tut! PS do you have a tut on that intro for this video on the warping of the particles?

Thank you very much for this tutorial, that's what I wanted to do. By cons I have a question about the path of particles. I managed to do like you and now I try to put a path between the cube and the monkey then between the monkey and the sphere but without success ... As soon as I put the second path, the first is influenced by the second. Poutant I select the cube with the first path and the monkey with the second. Can you help me please ?

Question how to hide the real object so... what we can see is only the Particles

I'm having trouble with the rendering. When I play the animation, I can see the object form and the particles. How can I render just the particles without seeing the object's form? Sorry I'm new to blender so am a bit unsure if I'm using the right language. Hope you can help!

To make sure the object emitting particles is not seen, untick "emitter" in the Particle settings :)

First you have to bake the particles in cache setting

@BIenderHD9 жыл бұрын
cblegoboy ThatGuy Thanks man! To see the particles in Cycles, set the render type to object and just use a cube or icosphere. Cycles doesn't yet support the default halo particle material.

How can I morph between multiple text, like you did in the intro video?
@BIenderHD9 жыл бұрын
TheLordAshton You can first convert the text to mesh, and then morph between using keyed particles as shown in the video.

I've got it to look right in the 3d viewer but I don't see one particle when I render a frame.
@BIenderHD9 жыл бұрын
Robert Miller If you're using cycles, you'll have to set the particles to render as an object since they are otherwise a single point in space without height, width, or depth.
@robertmiller3419 жыл бұрын
Blender HD if I set the Particles on a path do I have to tweak the timing for them to loose the shape of the original object while they travel? It looks like your monkey particles travel almost the entire way along the curve in the shape of the monkey instead of getting deformed right after leaving it's original location.
@BIenderHD9 жыл бұрын
Robert Miller Yeah, I think you'd have to tweak the timing or use an intermediary object

How do you make the particle flow on the path guid
@BIenderHD9 жыл бұрын
Add a curve, and set it as a force field with the type Curve Guide. Then just make sure the particles are emitted close to the start of the curve.

When the particles transform. How can I change particle material from object A to object B?
@BIenderHD8 жыл бұрын
+Kai DreamPixel Hi Kai, you can animate the material that the particle uses. It won't be a smooth Blend, but you could also copy and paste the materials as nodes and blend between with a mix node in Cycles or material node in BI.
@UnauthorizedExpression7 жыл бұрын
Or you can create several objects and choose the "group" option in the particles menu.
@jesonchanx79127 жыл бұрын
It doesn't render :(
@UnauthorizedExpression7 жыл бұрын
Jeson Chanx if you are using Cycles, you must create an object with a material and you must have something lighting your scene. If you are in Blender Render, you can render as halo but if you want multiple objects you must do the same thing as with Cycles.

When visiting your course site I received this Warning - the certificate for the site is out of date and login details are possibly at risk. Might I suggest you have your webmaster fix this so people are not turned away from visiting.
why don't you put this on blendercookie? Isn't there a larger market there to sell a blender course?

I really enjoy learning about that stuff but can't find really high quality tutorial :( I would definitely buy a explosion/smoke simulation course from you! but make sure you take paypal :p

BananaMuffin Haha thanks, I for sure will do more destruction once Cycles has more complete smoke support, and the fracture modifier is complete. Right now setting it up is kinda hacky.
