I'm so glad to see Ashrah getting attention in mk1 and playing a big role in this movie because she always was one of my favorite female characters from the 3D era with a pretty cool design and all she really needed was her character and story to be a bit more fleshed-out to make her more interesting and she's finally getting that

I think the best reference was when johnny scrambled to find a name for his fake agent when he was talking to jataaka, he came up with Dominic boon, a reference to of course ed boon, the creator of mk and dominic cholo the writer of all the mk storymodes

The game wasn't a mish mash of 2D era games, that was Mortal Kombat Trilogy. Moloch who was also from Deadly Alliance appeared to the left of Drahmin

To me if Shinnok did show up in a Future MK live action movie we so need Andy Serkis for the role And had they used Johnny cage right I would've seen Nathan Kress for the role with Ninja Mime being His Mockbuster film series and being more of a B-budget Actor doing Mockbuster movies
