Actually, it's an old Jewish joke. God gave us 100 commandments, but Moses was able to bargain it down to only 10. He tried to get rid of Covet too, but God refused.
@Rockhound6165

Actually, he said "oy" not "uh". Oy is a shortened version of "oy vey" which is the equivalent of "damn" or a similar exclamation.

You're right. Just recently I had to show my son the "no stairway to heaven" meme origin, and also there was "dumb and dumber" on tv one day. We couldn't watch the film for more than 15min, for both i had to sort of apologize "well, I found that funny at the time for some reason". The stairway "meme" is cool, of course, but the delivery so "cringe". And the last joke of d&d does make me laugh, but is not worth the film.

I’ve always struggled with this because of Psalms 34:8 “Taste the Lord and see that he is good” but yet we are cautioned against putting the Lord to the test. Inconsistency, inconsistency, Oy Vey… 😂😂 Imagine Mel Brooks as a Rabbi 😂

There is only one man who could drop five Commandments, and make it funny. That guy When I saw The Producers, I was squirming in my seat. 'How does that guy get away with such reckless humor?', I thought at the time. But I laughed. And then I squirmed through Blazing Saddles. 'How in the Wide World of Sports does that guy get away with that stuff?' But I laughed.
