The only AC players that don't know about this spawn location are die hard tunnel-philes who can fit an Arkbird through a keyhole.

It is if you fail the mission before getting to the base of the space elevator it's where you respawn from.

@@vicentee2687 Yeah, and its a shame it was only for Playstation 4. The PC release did not get it. SPOILERS DOWN BELOW EVEN THOUGH THIS GAME IS OLD!!! However, a lot of the music themes are themes based all around AC4, as you are actually playing once more as Mobius 1, however the squadron you fly with in the missions are VERY skeptical that you are the real Mobius 1 until the very last mission (set to a perfect rendition using Blockade as an inspiration for the backing of the final mission)

I just restart from checkpoint because its easier to enter the tunnel from that angle

You could also fly over the area before the cutscene and it’ll immediately spawn you there

The game puts you there after the cutscene ends lol.

Nah it don't. It's either if you reload the save, or were in the area when the cutscene played.

So the thing is i always spawned at the alternate spawnpoint until recently where i didnt fly over there so i actually got the standard spawn

I just crash directly before going into the tunnel so it throwes me near it when respawned

You could also find it by dying in the tunnel, you will respawn at that exact location.

This is the checkpoint respawn location I know this because its faster to reset after the cutscean for the s rank

A lot of people know about this on their second / third playthrough, since they will try to shoot down the ADF-11 before it tries to enter the tunnel.

I just go somewhere to the side of the map and see the last drone when it gets on radar but not in the combat area. Assuming the space elevator is south of the mainland. Just go northwest after you shootdown the drones. I frequently see a square for the drone and a symbol for an aircraft on the map but it's out of range and not in the combat area..

Ya know what’s interesting I was playing ace combat once when I was still bad at the game and I somehow managed to get a checkpoint behind the tunnel… like how the AFD-11 drone enters IDK how but it happened I couldn’t recreate it since, I believe I was in the Morgan.

I got that spawn the first time and it fucked me up because I tried to turn to hard to get into the tunnel over corrected and nibbled the side wall with my wing.

The 2nd Checkpoint is default if you crash.

While I agree that it is a skill issue, I do have to say it does take some serious skill to shoot the drones down, especially if you're a fan of using the less agile planes. I'm personally a fan of the X-02S "Strike Wyvern", as it's got some of the best stats of any plane(F22, Su-57, and F-14A | TGM being close behind, the ADF-11F having just barely better stats) and has a rail gun, but I still remember struggling even with the F-22

after the cutscene if you pause and restart from last checkpoint you spawn there and its much faster imo

Ace Combat story in general is inconsistent in quality but brave of you to say you like ac6 which is a minority among the community. Ac7 is decent for me. The AcXX and AcAH is the most generic of all the series in terms of storytelling. Most people do play AC series simply of the gameplay and because jets, it's just bonus if the story is great.
