I never thought it to be possible for a Bobcat to take down a fully grown female deer, not to mention sometimes match a pitbull. However, are one tough feline for their size.

In no video bobcat killed any deer. What the fuck people are watching is subject to analysis. They didn't kill not even one. The first deer is compiled from two different videos. Bobcat did kill it not even in his dreams. Was already dead before even got there.

@@AceThaDon First of all the obvious. There is a fight between the cat and the deer. It doesnt show that it kills it. There it shows a video with a dead deer and the cat in blood in another video. What the fuck doesn the mean? That probably killed it. This is an assumption, not a conclusion. Could have been dead already since its not the same video. Secondly, i have seen deers run away and stomple Pumas which are 2,5 times bigger than Bob cats. They don't have the fangs to suffocate it, neither the claws to hold it. Bob cat is a small to medium size cat. Kills most rabbits and animals like that. Perhaps in a video game you played may kill deers. In reality maybe as a scavenger can eat it, but thats prety much where it can go.

@@georgiospapahatzis9910 Stop speaking of Bobcat. It was a Lynx and over 45 minute kill. Lynx's main diet is hares and white-tailed deer, but mostly they prefer hares. The paws of a Lynx are nearly 3x that of bobcat and Lynx stand up to 3ft tall sitting- 45-50 lbs and as much as 80lbs in a healthy male. They are NOT bobcats. They do not share the same habitat except at some parts of Canadian US border.

This! They're just leaping out of thin air pulling ambushes like the fucking Vietcong or some shit. Nature instead of giving them size gave them lighting speed and absurd Kungfu moves. If a bobcat really did fight 2 pits and kill 1 that's some of the craziest stuff I've ever heard. Then again, that crazy neck grab/flip move they have is sure to mess anything up.

Yeah... Dogs are generally loyal even to the extend of sacrificing their lives for their owners. Do not expect it from cats. They are very much opportunistic.

Even some domestic cats can do a scream like sound just like when relaxed lynx or bobcat can do a regular meow. But then again cats have got two sets of vocals in order to make those separate sounds.

HELL I basically have wild cats. Trapped tamed Feral cats which get much bigger than ya ordinary house cat. Got 3. Two males and 1 female. Males 20+lbs and female is almost 18lbs. Ferals have literally had no contact with humans. It takes a little work. But once you gain the trust they are very loyal to you and you only. Kinda special to gain that trust.

A Canadian or Eurasian Lynx is much more deadly and powerful than a bobcat. Its paws are about the size of the average human hand and claws more savage and damaging.

There are three species of the Lynx genus actually shown in this video. Bobcat (lynx genus but not referred to as lynx), the Eurasian lynx (the one vocalizing, shown in a couple of clips), and which is 2x larger than the bobcat or Canada lynx. But most of the clips after that, including the brutal lynx kill of a deer and fighting off a coyote - those are of the Canada lynx, which is similar in size to bobcats. Canada lynx and bobcats live in North America, whereas Eurasian lynx (their larger cousins and ancestors) are in Eurasia. All those are separate from the ocelot in south America, btw.

We don't have sharp claws of course, but our legs are just as formidable. One well placed kick or stomp can kill something of bobcat size, if you're at least somewhat strong. It wouldn't be difficult for a person to bite off toes, ears, or small chunks of flesh, either. When you factor in our grip, as well as ability to use basic tools like rocks and sticks, humans are actually pretty scary. It really boils down to mindset, though; someone who doesn't feel the urge to fight back as hard as they can might not use those things to their advantage. I remember a story a while back about a guy hiking in California(?) who got ambushed by a mountain lion - he choked it to death with his knee or elbow pressing on its neck. You're pretty much screwed against a bear, though. Even fighting a black bear barehanded would be almost impossible for 95% of the population if it was determined to kill you. lol

It being a somewhat less formidable mountain lion doesn't really detract from my point, because it can still easily kill you, but you've got options against it. Honestly, a starving animal is a lot more dangerous than one with a normal diet. That may be why it felt bold enough to attack a human in the first place.
