I did that, too! I mean, not to DIANE SAWYER. But while the interview was wrapping up, they asked if I had any questions, and I asked, "What's your average day, working for [OTHER company that I have an interview scheduled with]

So Sorry you didn't make the Network, but that was hilarious. I was in TV & Radio News and had dreams of being the next Barbara Walters. That dream faded when after a great package.. I went to the News Director to see what he thought and he said, "Next time use more hair spray". Yeah.. I was bummed! I stayed in news for about 6-more years. Now I'm a voice over talent and much happier. :)

When wrapping up an interview, I say "it's been great meeting you, too !" BUT I make sure I never use their name, out of the same concern. After a multi-hour technical interview, my brain is fried. So the likelihood of making a similar mistake is pretty high.

Totally something I would do! That’s why I just never say anyone’s name out loud, ever. Because in my head I’m always second guessing myself. It’s ok Penn! Wasn’t meant to be….

Haha, oh no!! I know my worst job interview was right after leaving the military. The kid interviewing me must have been 18 or 19. He was asking me about my experience in work. My only experience to date was the military (and a job at kmart when I was 16) but I start talking about the military and everything. Im looking at this kid who had never seen anything like what I describing and probably never would. I mean it was a job at dominos... so maybe good I didn't get it. But I think I intimidated that poor kid.

My mother said she once had the weirdest job interview ever to a grocery store and she had the job for like 6 months to a year. She would keep switching rooms and their were 3 people interviewing her. The first asked her questions like “do you know the grocery store?” And “Do you know why your here?” The second just left The third asked to leave her contact information and she was hired.

It was an innocent mistake Penn. I would’ve given you the job. People call me by the wrong name all the time. Loved the video! ❤

I always laugh when you call it The KZfaq... we had a grandparent who told us to ask one of her daughters, who has Amazon's number... she's sure they'll be able to help us find this item.... 🤣
