In this Broadcast Award-winning, BAFTA and Emmy Award-nominated entertainment show, Taskmaster tyrant Greg Davies (Man Down, Cuckoo), with the help of his loyal assistant Alex Horne (The Horne Section and the show’s creator), sets out to test the wiles, wit and wisdom of five hyper-competitive comedians.
Comedians that have risked life, limb, and dignity in the hope of making the Taskmaster proud so far include: Frank Skinner (The Frank Skinner Show), Mel Giedroyc (The Great British Bake Off), Romesh Ranganathan (Asian Provocateur), Hugh Dennis (Outnumbered), Sally Phillips (Bridget Jones’ Diary), Rose Matafeo (Edinburgh Comedy Award Winner 2018), and Russell Howard (The Russell Howard Hour). Unaware of what awaits them in each wax-sealed envelope, only one competitor can become the victorious owner of His Royal Task-ness’ golden head and be crowned the next Taskmaster Champion.

I'd argue the more iconic moment in the get a teabag into the mug task is Frank Skinner saying 'some idiot would take the first 45 minutes to realise you need to wet the bags' cut to Romesh realising that 40 minutes in.

The Nish-Mark song is of course iconic on it's own, but it's also the culmination of absolutely masterful character development for those two across the whole series. It's perfect.

I absolutely, love taskmaster and there are so many amazing moments, but that song has to be the best thing contestants have done. It's not as funny as other stuff, it's nowhere near as clever as most, but it's just brilliant

Mawan's use of the duck as a distraction was genius. The cow looking like plastic might have been a tip off if people didn't spend their time looking at the duck.

The suspense of Mel in that car continuously talking about the tiny gap they were going to is I think one of the best examples of tension building in any TV show ever 😂

I personally think Mark and Nish performances is more iconic, but I agree that the whole task is iconic and they should include both.

A key part of it is how spectacularly Mark and Nish had been messing up the other tasks. Expectations were low, and then they came out with this genuinely brilliant response to the task.

Had to give you that 1k 👍🏽 Bob whispering at the beginning "Rosalind.....Roslind's a nightmare" killed me and the lyrics were incredibly funny. This was a task that had no clear winner. However.... I do agree with the comment that no one expected Mark and Nish to crush it like they did. Their melody was better and they played instruments. They get the bonus point. But thanks, I'm gonna go find that episode. 😊

I’ve seen all these tasks before... but I was anticipating Mel eating her sandwich so much I was convulsing with laughter, crying.... and then she got a blue M&M in her nose and it took the convulsions to a level never seen before! I had quite forgotten about the dining malfunction.

For me, the real iconic moment of the tea bag toss was Frank saying something like "someone will probably spend 30 minutes throwing the teabags and then realise they'd be better wet". Followed by a perfect cut to Romesh saying exactly that.

Daisy was seven months pregnant when filming the studio bits. She was laughing so hard that both Greg and Alex were worried that she'd go into labour on set and they'd have to deliver the baby.

I love how the way Rosalind answered the questioned about the other two in her quartet being a couple was “they used to be but then he got septicemia and lost the use of three fingers . . .” as though the couple broke up because of that. I understood what she meant, but the other interpretation, well, struck me.
