hard to understand how much people is ignorant, used to go 5 times a year to Barcelona, Venice or Berlin...yes, there is electricity in Poland ! and, Poland is not a latin country (often heard...) ! Warsaw is from the last 2 decades the most dynamic City in all Europe, and going to be soon one of the most visited capitals. No comparable to any other one, due to its History and to its mix of architecture styles, a unical diversity. For me the most fascinating european city !

U are talking a lot of crap, firstly Warsaw is the ugliest capital city in Europe, even tall buildings won’t change that, this city doesn’t have even one street that would look presentable and nice. It’s very chaotic architecture, most of the streets in central Warsaw still look like in the communism era. I’m in Warsaw once or twice a month and I still don’t understand how come after 30 yrs of transformation the city still looks so rough… I think this city needs another 25-30 years to look like a proper European capital, I personally think Gdańsk and Wroclaw are more European cities than Warsaw.

Warsaw has more skyscrapers than Berlin it's amazing how big Warsaw is becoming! It's only taken Poland 30 years to become a fast growing developing country, I can only imagine what Poland will look like in another 30-years especially if it continues to have steady economic growth and based off current economic data I'm sure Warsaw will become a Mega City by 2050-2060. Keep up the good work Poland! 👍 🇵🇱

i do not understand your comparison with Berlin, it does make much of a sense. Warsaw is competing with Frankfurt in terms of highscrapers, not Berlin ( there is not much of a high-rise architecture there)

Warsaw is not underrated! It has actually been voted #1 best European travel destination in 2023 beating Athens at #2!! Tourists from USA and Australia cast so many votes for Warsaw, that it became a runnaway winner (142 thousand votes for Warsaw vs 91 thousand for Athens)! @@fekalistagrzybowory7619 Manila, the capital city of The Philippines during the war was the centre of WW 2 theatre in the pacific as was told to me by my grandfather who was a veteran of the U.S. army. In my understanding it's like NATO Alliance attacking the Russian armed forces inside Ukraine by air, land, and sea. Pure devastation !!! The whole American fleet attacked the Japanese army inside the capital city by air, land, and sea. Pure devastation !!! Hopefully, this fate will not happen to Ukraine, which is Poland's neighbour. Give Peace A Chance Ladies And Gentlemen !!!

Warsaw because it was destroyed during WWII ( historic center a buildings ), and Poland wasn't very rich during and in the end of SSSR, some people around me, who visited it in the 60s through 90s, told us, it isn't worth it. So I was surprised how good the city is looking now, and how developed it is. I'm visiting Poland all my life, mostly southern regions.

Przecież tu nie wystarczy wyczyszczenie elewacji, która jak pamiętam była wyceniono na około 22 mln złotych i to ładnych parę lat temu. Dziś takie czyszczenie pewnie dojdzie do 30 mln złotych. PKiN musi być poddany generalnemu remontowe. Obecnie Sala Kongresowe, remontowana jest od 8 lat i wstępnie remont miał kształtować się w granicach 40 mln złotych, dziś jest to kwota 120 mln złotych i potrwa to do 2025 roku.

Speaking from an outsider point of view.Poland seems to be developing nicely-in a material field,but mentally it seems to be turning into Lechistan.l understand and support Poland opposing the neo-liberal agenda being pushed from the west,but Polish conservativism has gone too far.Just my humble opinion. No harm meant...

You got that wrong. It’s the countryside that is changing into Lechistan, cities are fundamentally opposed to it and are more European than you think. Unfortunately 2/3 of our population lives in the countryside so that why you may think that, thankfully tho the demographics are quickly changing.
