In December of 2021, heavy snows and rains pounded drought-parched and fire scarred Northern California. The water was literally a gift from the heavens for the state's beleaguered fish (and forests and wildlife). In fact, it was a record-setting month from a snowpack standpoint in the Sierra Nevada.
If the rest of the winter is reasonably wet, the latest drought just may end!
