Drink water, eat fruits, veggies, no refined processed foods. Drink dandelion root & hibiscus tea, coffee. Veggie soup. Exercise, sweat.

Do not drink water. Unless you don’t want to loose weight faster. There is a thing called water weight which means you can litteraly gain weight by drinking water. A safe amount for water fasting is about 2 days (without feeling dizzy). I have been water fasting for 2 days on, exercising vigorously(4 hours a day, with 4 layers(jacket, jacket, jacket, and a t shirt.) I lost 10 pounds a day. All you need is motivation. Listen to me. And good luck

When I lost weight , Intermittent fast daily , Exercise ( 5 days a week ) in the morning and Drink water . I lost on average 4 pounds a day. I ate one meal a day. So I am back to losing 15 pounds and I might lose it in one or 2 months. Everyone situation differs!!! In this Region, everybody are able to visit the gyms for Free and we have over 200 activities, 4 huge swimming pools, 2 inside / 2 outside, Tennis courts, basketballs, Soccer fields, Volleyball, Badminton, Squash, etccc.

I am so sick and frustrated not only in not being able to lose weight at the age of 63, but of all the ads I get in my SM feed for some pill or gummy or protein powder or keto ad. It’s so so overwhelming to the point you don’t know what to believe anymore. Prior to 2020 I went on Whole 30 and got down to 117. After the drama of Covid and being 4 years older, I just can’t get into a place in my head (discipline) to get back on it. I don’t know what to do anymore. I like your approach, it’s easy, natural, and inclusive. It’s not don’t eat potatoes don’t eat bananas don’t eat this or that…requiring one to buy specialized foods. I’m going to try this along with drinking Bragg’s Apple Cider Vinegar before each meal. Let’s see where this leads me. Thanks you.

You are literally telling my.story. The only difference is I am 65 and I also did Whole 30 Pre-Covid. I lost 52 lbs. I haven't been able to get focused to get back on. It is almost enough to make you scream with all the "do this don't do that if you want to lose weight." Eat more fat, don't eat carbs, eat more veggies, eat more fruit, drink protein shakes, don't exercise, do exercise, count macros, eliminate sugar, add this to your coffee,..... on and on. Everything seems to be about the dollar.

@@sandrajohnson2832 I personally recommend grapefruit instead. I was doing the cider thing for about a month and I did see some minimal positive effect. But I always loved my grapefruit I just had got out of the habit of getting it. I started to eat half in the morning, then the other half after my dinner and my weight loss really started to take off. I am down 34 pounds in just over 3 months. I eat my meals between 4 and 6 myself, and it's red cabbage, kale with beets, brussel sprouts, red bell and jalapeno peppers as my sides with every meal. I either eat a 2oz tiny steak, or a bean sprout salad with red onions, tomatoes and cucumbers. The only cheat I use is a salad dressing in a drizzle, it's the only processed food I eat and will remove that once I manage to make a good dressing recipe. I'm 60 years old.

My dad has also told me that salt makes your body hold water. When I did my water fast a couple years ago, I added a touch of salt to the water to help keep me hydrated.

Makes absolute sense. I pretty much went low carb/ no sugar when I entered menopause simply because Carbs and sugar wreaks havoc and triggers bad hot flashes and brain fog..I have been eating like this for past few years and my body now won't tolerate anything else, made the mistake of treating myself to a lovely raspberry jelly donut few days ago. It triggered a horrible IBS flare that last 2 days and made my whole body feel sick. Normally I intermittent fast and break it with a handful of nuts, cashews, sunflower seeds..with a lot of keshe water...
