I can relate to Oprah's testimony. I surrendered, crying to God the day before my exam results came out. The next day, I received my exam results. I passed my exam. Offering yourself to God means letting him sort it out for you.

one month I needed money for my car license, I prayed, about 2 days later my sister came to visit, when she left she had hidden money under a book on the table, I could not stop thanking God, HE let me know although He helped me He was actually doing it to help my sister, she had been feeling down and depressed, He knew that by her helping me is what she needed to lift her spirits and get her out of a rut. Praise God

I have actually grown up grown up with a biological mother father who were a narcissist and then the first man who looked at me I chased and was with him for 35 years another narcissist oh my God have I not pay my mother f****** dues I had the only thing I knew was that my only value was to bring home the paycheck my only value was he was a Percocet narcotic Seeker and when I had my gastric bypass when I was $330 lb what do you do to me he looked at me while I laid in bed and pissed and s*** my own bed because he wouldn't help me at 33 and 30 lb he said you won't be needing these and he grabbed my 30 pills of Narcotics wow that was an eye opener he was a Percocet narcotic Seeker he was verbally abusive he would not work to take care of his children and he was verbally abusive and I believed every word he said that's all I knew I came from a verbally abusive father and it took me until I was 61 years old to realize that my father and my ex-husband were were a narcissist and they made me be their codependent and it's like Jesus Christ I'm 61 f****** years old and this is the s*** I'm going through it's been horrific it's been horrific I'm just now learning that I deserve to be loved I just I deserve to be valued I'm texting served everything I didn't realize all this until very very frequently it's very sad

I can tell you that at the start of my journey I didn't know where to begin and I listened to your Walk Talks on WW three times. Then I started listening to your podcasts. I bought The Path Made Clear. Your words make so much sense to me, resonate in me. I have started journaling, walking, taking care of myself and most recently started The Best Life Diet. I love hearing this motivational speech from you. Myself I am in the fight of my life for my life. I have been a drug addict for over 25yrs. Currently I have 4 months and 6 days clean. I've been through 50 days of residential rehab and I have been living in a sober living house up until today. I have been treated so unfairly. In spit of this I got a job, I am so grateful for the people God has put in my life who truly want to help me. Operation New Hope, and Gateway. It's a up hill battle. I listen daily to you and Steve Harvey's motivational speeches on KZfaq. I love in Jacksonville FL. The statistics of long term sobriety are stacked against me. Thanks to you and Mr Harvey I'm rising above all of this negativity. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. You two have helped me more than you will ever know.

Everytime I felt alone, betrayed, depressed and stressed out, I always end up listening to this songs and my tears came out. you're exactly right Oprah. people can do so much when they look Beyond themselves it's the smallest of things a person. I call it filling in the gaps. and that can be by volunteering, helping someone in need., mowing someone's lawn or cleaning up their yard without asking for cash because they need help, or tipping a drive-thru for saying hi or smiling or just because you got a good report on your dental visit you wanted someone else to smile too just simple things that can make a person's day to fill in the gaps to bring joy we all can do it in so many ways and you just have to take the time, the conversation, and just do it you will feel better for it even when you're going through the hardest of times it will get you through your journey and you always feel better in the end.. thank you Oprah for being such a soul provider to the world in so many ways and that we all can contribute some way everyday to our communities to our neighbors and to our friends and family and to our elders giving back and filling in the gaps are so rewarding.

I have had depression on and off for the last 5 years.. after my divorce. I was in unhealthy marriage. He never hurt me. We just weren’t in love with each other. I fought so hard during those dark days. I did keep standing and what made me keep standing was my selfless and beautiful mum. My selfless brothers and my angels 👼🏼 who i reached out to.. from my providers my doctors my friends. My beautiful angels 👼🏼 who really cared about my welfare. I didn’t want to die.. We only have 1 life.. I lost myself. I am found still on the journey of healing ❤️‍🩹 I feel the truth inside me. I wanna enjoy my life again. find the joy in everything i do. I am a resilient woman. I am proud for not giving up. I painted words of affirmation on my rocks 🪨 i found at my local park. Those words defined me and saved my life. 😢😞💪🏻💪🏻😇😇😇❤️‍🩹

I am on a mission to spread love, light, and empathy back into our world. I am going to start by battling in my own home town, thriving to the best of my ability, to win my 3 sons back. I will. I can. I must. I have an incredible story to share. I am still writing. I hope one day to share our story with the world. My sons will be home with me soon. By christmas. I pray.
