Who is listening on July 30, 2023? I graduated high school in 1981!! I couldn’t be happier because I feel my generation has been a blessing and oh, so many lessons.🎉

I grew up in the 80's, graduated high school in 86. It truly was a different world from today. The music of that time period will always hold a special place in my heart. All of my favorite bands, Motley Crue, Skid Row, Tesla, Ratt, Def Leppard, Warrant, Poison, Bon Jovi, Wasp, Cinderella, Van Halen, Metallica, Judas Priest, REO , Kiss , Aerosmith and so on were all over MTV and the radio and it was awesome! Those of us who remember that time know it will never be duplicated.

I don't think it was this exact show, but my first concert ever was Crue Fest 2008 with my dad. Motley Crue was one of our favorite bands. My dad passed two months ago and I was looking for a version of this song for his memorial, and I found this - a version we may have listened to live, right next to each other, 14 years ago. I'm both happy and heartbroken to find this, but I'm glad it exists for me to come back to.

@William David I'm aware. I was around when Mötley Crüe broke out. I grew up in SoCal. Mick Mars is from my hometown. I've been a fan for most of my life. 18 years old in 1988. For some reason fun times at 18 are hanging out with cool girls, playing D&D, and going to the Rocky Horror Show in Monterey, Ca. Ah, glorious youth. Right before Grunge ended bands like Motley Crue...
