Beautiful restoration.. beautiful bike.. congratulations! Your videos are inspiring and motivational, so thank you. I bought a new T3 back in 1977 when I was 21.. a dream come true, now at 67 years old I've just bought a 1982 T3 California with 129000 km on the clock.. wish me luck! Best regards, Pete

I had the Guzzi T3 for many years absolutely loved it totally different experience to any other bike, sound, braking,engine all perfect. The engine sound was distinctive and basically spoke to you saying o.k throw anything you want at me i can handle it. The only things that needed fettling were the designed for sunny climates electrics, essential to convert to electronic ignition and also essential in England and Wales(particularly Wales) to carry a can of WD40 and some dry cloths ready to give the coil a quick spray and dry. Beautiful bike designed by a genius who dared to be different. Thanks for the memories

@@LoscarMotorcycles Nice. Actually a 1000 SP is the whole reason why I became interested in motorcycles. A childhood friends father had one and his wife had a Le Mans. I really dig the design of these machines. I wish you great luck with Kawa, also an iconic machine! :)

Such a good motorcycle. Beautiful resto, too. Love how much smoother and more flexible the small valve/carb T3 is compared to the 850 lemans. I’ve owned both, and, looking back, the T3 had a much nicer engine. Many years later, I have kept just one of the guzzi’s I owned. A 1990 LM 1000. Truly a beast. I’m currently looking for a medium valve head for it to take the edge off the beast. Moral of this comment: sometimes softer tuning really is better.

Just stumbled across your KZfaq page and ABSOLUTELY LOVE your vids and these beautiful restorations!! Well done sir👍🏻! I'm getting ready to do my first restoration, a '73 Honda CL175. It's been about 9 years since I last had a bike and really miss riding. I wanted something different this time around and I found myself looking for something vintage. When I came across this bike that also came with a '70 parts bike for $175, I thought that's the one! I know it's a small bike but horsepower and speed don't mean as much to me these days. Just enjoy the bike and the ride...

The bike of my dreams when I was 17 back in the mid-70's. Check out the foot-peg positioning - everyone else back then still had you in a "sitting on a chair" riding position (mainly because they couldn't be bothered to move the gearshift back via a rear-set linkage), so if you wanted to put your weight on the pegs or even stand on them (lots of reasons for doing so) you had to pull on the bars to do it, unsettling the bike - stupido! Guzzi had theirs set just like all modern bikes do.

mickster boone Had one in the 80s. I removed the side stand completely for safety reasons.. Also the tediously bad air filter box, replaced with k&n. Nice cheap Ford Escort battery would fit if you removed the tool tray. Rusting brake pistons, seized front engine mounting bolt, chokes freezing up in the winter.. Still sorry I got rid of it, but nowhere to keep it at the time.

Hi from New Zealand. First of all what fantastic restoration of a highly underrated bike. I am restoring a 850T and was wondering what colour you used on the fork lower legs. Cheers .
@LoscarMotorcycles Жыл бұрын
Friend Chris😊. The underrated T3?? I am lucky enough to enjoy restoring different bikes (now I am working on the latest project for a Kawa Z900) and the Guzzi is one of my favourites. It has a powerful and smooth engine, fantastic braking with great stability and is excellent for touring. You will have a lot of fun on the wonderful roads of New Zealand. What you ask is not painting. In the video "Third Part" you can see it in more detail. First the aluminum is polished and then this part is protected with adhesive tape to finish with a jet of glass microspheres. You remove the protective tape and that is the result. Enjoy with the Guzzi and thanks for watching my videos. Loscar ✌
