Was a fun bike to ride! I didn't have my mic for my GoPro on me, that's why there was a lot of wind. Didn't plan to make the video, just wanted to go ride it but I figured, why not.

I’ve had my 2018 since November - love it! Straight forward bike, puts a smile on your face and get lots of comments on how good-looking it is. Simple is best sometimes.

Most BMW bikes have an elegant appearance to them. My '05 R1150R even to this day, I'm often asked if it's new. Nice to see that you scan (based on your camera movement) your turns ahead of you at intersections. Always look for redlight runners, we (EMS) get calls for those accidents almost daily. Thanks for sharing, Greg!

Beautiful naked bike, simplicity at its best! For sure not as luxurious as your GS, but for someone who wants a cheaper bike for everyday commute, i thinks it as a purpose. Have a good one Greg and thanks for sharing that ride! ;-)

I just recently started riding again. Picked up a 2015 Victory Gunner. Love it. One of your videos, I saw the GoPro mounted on your chin. I had to do it. Picked up a Body Board GoPro mount from Ali Express, made a few mods to my helmet so that I could attach it to my helmet. Super awesome! Thanks for the idea.

Bought one a month ago for my first motorcycle in 46hp version ( A2 european licence ) and I love it … high torque allows me to stay in cruising mode mental state … I find this safer than Japanese bikes that have to be reved up quite high …

I got the 2021 r9t scramber last year, use it as my daily around town, to the office etc. It is such a fun bike to ride, I love it. Am planning to make a tour down to Spain from Germany this coming summer. Will be the first long tour I make with it so I am curious to see how that goes. Going to install a windshield and gel cushioned seat to improve comfort. Otherwise I think it'll be fine so long as I don't forget to check my milage so I don't run out of gas... 😆 thanks for the brief review.

I had the wonderful opportunity to ride an A2 limited nineT and damn that thing is fun, I could definitely feel the difference between my CB500X's 43Nm and the nineT's 116Nm

Nice review, thanks! I bought a new 2021 r9t pure last year and absolutely love it. The upgrades over prior models make a big difference, especially the throttle by wire! The funny thing is that even with all the new modern conveniences and safety features BMW still doesn’t provide a gas gage or range remaining. Go figure! On the other hand they do now have cruise control, which as you said is the cats meow!

The best I got with mix driving without panicking of the remaining range was 320km full tank (199M) /pure 2021.

Maybe your not old enough to remember a /5 area BMW. The R9T's are their "retro" bikes being simplistic but with modern motors and brakes. I have the Pure and a R1250RS, both unique in their own respect. Although I'd say the RS is more a scaled down RT than a naked GS. I've owned 15 BMW's over the last 44 years. My knowledge and understanding of these bikes might be a little better . Just my thoughts. Still enjoy your comments and content. 👍👍🏍🏍🏍🙋‍♂️

The bike is actually heavy but due to the engine configuration most of the weight is down low. Also, the engine crank shaft is aligned front to back instead of side to side like chain driven bikes. That is why it moves to the side when you rev the engine. I bought one new in 2015 my ex talked me into selling it because she thought I had to many bikes. I really miss the R9T but not her!

Had the pleasure of spending the day on one once. Stunning to look at and the riding character is like a burly, old school gentleman complete with square jaw, moustache and waistcoat. My top three best looking bike. And yes, cruise control on a bike is excellent.

I like naked bikes, the wind, and all the stuff associated. But cruise control (a kind of motorcycle automatic pilot) is for me the easiest way to become distracted and disregard what's happening around in the road.

I ride an R nineT Pure, modded to my liking. It been terrific so far, about 18 months and over 12,000 miles into it! It’s not the most practical daily rider, but the bike’s character makes up for anything it’s lacking.

How's the dry clutch feel compared to wet? Would you have any concerns practicing your low speed drills for an extended length of time per session with a dry clutch?

Those are the line of bmw bikes i like. They start like that, and rev like that, because of that boxer. Love the look, and its personality. Just dont want to spend 16k plus on a bike, from a manufacturer with such a bad reputation.

cool bike. I was thinking alot on getting the scrambler version but got put off by this old boxer engine design. Clutch replacement on these is pure nightmare.

I'm requesting for a video, how to make a speed breaker (speed limit) with motorcycles (motorbikes)? I mean, what are the good techniques for this purpose?

can anyone test ride a bike there? my local dealer doesn’t, even on used bikes. I wanted to try out a 9 year old Street Triple but they said they don’t want to add miles to it. I can understand that for a new bike but this one had 54k miles on it 🤦🏻‍♂️

Love these, but I want the faired cafe racer version! So cool, and should keep some wind off the chest. (I do hear the transmission's not exactly wonderful, but it's still on my list.)
