After over 100 miles and 2 campgrounds Dad and I ended up back on our property camping at one of our private sites.

Lol. Tractor camping!! Love it!! I totally agree as far as camping grounds go. Nothing short of a parking lot camping. Crowded and noisy!

Hi, Fireball...!!! Came across this video.....Excellent. I enjoy camping even more, than when I was drinking......NATURE , is it's own high. Keep on Keeping On.....Ron.......!!!

Ron Shook Thanks Ron! I hear ya on the sober train. I quit drinking about 7 yrs ago and being out in nature doesn’t need any extra help to be awesome. Hope you have a great and safe camping season!

Man I swear I could smell that bacon! Come spring I'll be out in the woods myself, tired of making excuses and letting things get in the way. I'll be bringing a little yellow mustard to spread over my eggs. Learned that from my father. Just a wee touch. Makes 'em taste sweet and brings some kind of healing to your stomach. Old man's been gone two decades now. I'm 75, still ride year round. Plan to be cremated sitting upright on my bike with a flaming arrow shot at a distance. Like the Vikings. Where me and the Nomad will rise together in a cloud of smoke. Where all the people will Ooo and Ahh then look down at the cooling ashes and say, "Amen!"

Cool vid. I go ultralight on my moto camping with my basic tent+bedding+cookware coming in around 6-8lbs (depending on temperatures expected), but some good food and beverage always bump up the weight.

Rhunyen good food when camping is sometimes worth the sacrifice of adding extra weight.ill do dry food sometimes, but it's hard to beat bacon and eggs. Thanks for the comment. Ride safe and ATB

The winter can be some of the best time to spend in the woods. Unless the temperature is dangerous I love camping in winter. Thank you for translation

Fantastic, really jealous you have such a great spot on your own land. My land is about 60ft by 30ft 😂😂 on a serious note watching this I miss my Dad and Uncle both passed away both bikers. Great breakfast by the way ATB Steve

steve butler Thanks for the great comment. I’m really sorry to hear about your Dad and Uncle. I try to spend quality time with my Dad while I can. Having the land has been a great way for us to bond. I do my best not to take it for granted. Wish you the BEST and safe riding!

Michael Supple that is awesome you get to camp with your daughters! I used to be a whiskey guy for years but stopped drinking a while ago. I think I miss it most when I'm camping. I've replaced it with coffee lol. Thanks for the comment, ATB

Michael Elkins I still have the NC, love that bike. I didn’t want to destroy it on backroads so I was able to justify another one lol. I’m still going to camp with the NC but the Himalayan will get me places that are way out in the middle of no where. ATB!

awesome video! Me and my dad take our home built campers out together as often as we can. Great times and great memories made. Try freecampsites.net I have found several nice places to camp. Sometimes Im the only person at the campground!! Stay safe!
