Explore history of small towns through Canada’s deadliest slide and discover the work of Nicola Tesla at Cascade, the influence of the Railway, and the rum runners of the past on this motorcycle ride, as we share the thrills of the road with you.
We started this adventure as an overnight motorcycle camping ride to Winthrop and as we layed in our hammock tents on that first night we talked about the nearby ghost towns and we decided to take an extra day that further morphed into 6 amazing and inspiring days on the road. We always have a rough plan, usually guided by the time we have off work, and a list of places we want to explore and see that we constantly update on our phones!
From that first night and onto Grand coulee, the Ghostown of Govan, the Palouse wheat fields and the gunslinging stories of the towns in the area onto the vigilantee history of the courthouse in Colfax, to ride the spiral highway in Lewiston, Lolo Pass and the Lewis and Clark adventures and on route through the Flathead Valley to Glacier National park where I wanted to photograph the red rocks of Lake McDonald as we continue towards home on this video sharing the experience and history along the way.
