Motorcycle Restoration Side Covers DIY

I bought a 1972 Honda SL125 from my daughter and like most of these bikes the side covers were missing. With my minimal fabrication skills I decided to attempt making my own with a little cowboy flair. Using scrap metal I made the frame to attach tooled leather to. I wanted to take on a survival bike look so I added a moulded leather pouch I had kicking around and made a knife sheath to attach as well.
I used ⅜ inch bolts and 3/16 steel rod to make the frame then used 18 ga steel to fill in the panel. I then tooled leather to attach to the sides and followed up with die and the above mentioned attachments.
I’m not sure what compartments to put on the other side yet so feel free to comment and let me know what to do.
