i was at this show,met phil outside had a chat,and he was kind enough to put my name on the guest list that evening,otherwise i woulndt have been able to gotten in,its one of my favorite rock-n-roll experiences,thanks so much for that memory phil,=JOHN GIBBONS

Phil Cambell is an unsung guitar master!!! The ease at which he plays, so nonchalant and natural, he’s become one of my all time favorite guitarists!! So sick. A perfect three piece band.

Saw them in Portland on the same tour, likely within a few days of this gig. Saw Motorhead several times over the years. Always a great show. Thanks for sharing this. Motorhead For Life!

It's a great room but it seems a tad small for the likes of Motorhead. Seen some great shows in that place though.

@@mlwsf That was only one of the great things about Motorhead, they'd play ANYWHERE, no stadium needed. I saw them a couple of times at "The Channel", a small dive in Boston, and several times at The Orpheum (a small, old school theater) and once in Dallas, at some club that was about the size of my house (1400 sq ft)

Hard to believe that they played the GAMH is S.F. Don't get me wrong, I love that room but it seems a little small for them after seeing them booked at the Warfield on most of their other tours. I was in Ireland at the time otherwise I would have fought to be there.
