The bike shifts wonderfully you can tell you took your time dialing that part in, would recommend finding a jet kit though the amount of 4 stroking if you're not in break-in is concerning. I'd personally go down like two jet sizes and it should be perfect!

I stretched a bike so it had two pedal tubes the second tube made a perfect jack shaft , just cut off the pedal arm and attach sprocket on both sides . I put an old sturmy archer 3 speed internal hub rim on it . All I needed to buy was the free wheel for pedal sprocket. It shifts so smooth , no chain rattle. And the low gear is like having a 55 tooth sprocket on dair . I haven't maxed out the third gear yet . It's wicked fast . BE SAFE BE BADAZZ 😃

You can skip jackshafts and such by just installing a 1500 watt ebike hub motor kit on the front wheel, and a 28 tooth or 32 tooth sprocket on the rear off your standard motor. Kind of expensive but it's super awesome

I was thinking a 500 or 750w geared hub front wheel motor (not a direct drive) which would be better suited for a gas/electric hybrid bike...Geared Hub Pros - less drag, smaller, lighter, more torque. It's not as durable but you wouldn't use it the whole time you're riding & not as much top speed but more torque quicker off the line.
@ProlificInvention Жыл бұрын
@@michaelbrinks8089 I have had a 750 geared hub motor which is 1hp, a 1500 watt direct drive has the more acceleration at 2hp and a 28mph top speed-anything over that and it actually recharges your battery. Also I think a geared hub motor would burn out much quicker if installed on a gas powered bike due to the freewheel/sun gears getting hot.
@michaelbrinks8089 Жыл бұрын
@@ProlificInvention Is the 1500 watt a lot heavier? In my 1st post I was thinking about 750w to keep weight down but having enough low end power just to get going, before the gas engine takes over. Also didn't realize the sun gears would get hot freewheeling. I seen most are nylon/plastic but you can buy upgraded metal sungears

Good night. It would be great if we had these two engine mounts that hold the shaft that transfers the force to the other side. Like, they contoured on some A4 sheets, each support on a sheet, for pdf so we can make our own supports. Think about the partner idea. It would help us a lot in the shaft adaptation process via email. Thanks for the attention

Depends on if you have the money for an E bike. I find 2 strokes to get better performance on a budget, and downright fun
@mr.equity1120 Жыл бұрын
Honestly it depends tbh. E-bikes are wonderful they don’t draw attention. They’re super fast, you have the option to run them like normal bike with pedal assist but they’re more expensive and have less range or mileage compared to gas bikes. Gas bikes are also safer to ride in the road since they make noise and alert nearby drivers but they also attract cops 👮♂️ . They are cheaper, easier to maintain but slightly harder to install. You could tune the carb and update parts to increase your performance should you desire it. Electric bikes don’t have as many mods available for increasing performance. So it really just boils down to preference. The purpose of my bike is commuting so I prefer a gas one because it’s more reliable for that purpose, but if I want to go on joyrides I gotta avoid residential areas because of the noise, just some stuff to think about. Make sure you research a lot before buying any parts. Trust me there’s a loooooot of space for errors when building a motorized bicycle.
