If you put a hole in the top of the piece that holds the string and put a shout piece of pipe and screw it into the top of the spool holder it will act as a counter weight and you won't get that wobble your getting now. It will make it turn smooth .

Let's just automate bow shooting and have a machine a robot shoot for us. much more faster and accurate.

Heh, my thoughts exactly. I really think that quality string must be lay out by hand from start to finish on robust and rigid jig/twist/strecher. I need to feel serving load with my hands. Now i can understand ppl who make strings for living. They cant waste time on ie single cam compound bow string serving. But any kind of machine lay down serving process you cant feel damn thing and if your bobbin load set washer slip than separation will be imminent. i never got serving separation on mine strings :) Cheers

oh well, the guy is trying to make a living selling this so more power to him.and I'm sure unlike us there are people out there that don't enjoy the art of making strings or find it relaxing. on the other hand Iv'e ran out of excuse to wife why i need to make another string, the darn things just don't break :-)

Good one mate :) I am just in process of building my brand new massive string jig twister strecher. I hardly wait to roll few strings for my bows. Old one is, well, old and ugly :) This one would be as Little Jon Jig. Cheers

I have saw several of these videos, but no one has said what is done with the two loss ends of the main string (Dacron string).I understand the serving and the ends of those.I see you tie off to start and I see you tie the end,and then you serve, but there are the strings that are tied off.what happens with them?

Nice, I'm guessing If you're making bowstrings to sell or for your archery club I can see the benefit of trying to make them as fast as possible but for most hobby archers who only get through 2 or 3 maybe 4 in strings year is the couple of minutes saved for each string is really worth the investment? As said a nice tool, for me part of the making up a string is I find it quite relaxing even therapeutic to take my time and get it looking good as well as a functional, and as I have gone more into English longbow archery I only serve the middle

C .Wright Most definitely agree. Especially at the $87 US HimmelChef stated. If these started getting really mass produced by one of the serving jig companies or something and that let them drop the price to around $15-$20 US, I could see there being a market for this just for the convenience factor.

hi like to watch your videos on KZfaq and I wanted to ask you respectively ask for advice, self Compound Bow PSE NOVA ONE CAM produced in 2011, what is the length of the string. because I can not under the old bowstring somehow get to the length. . Apparatus for producing and I am using fiber available with us BCY 452X. It is super durable, just makes me a problem, tune the length between the arms and string bow .. bow ... then acts as a large caliber shotgun, kicking and entrained downwards. Thank you for your early reply with the following ...
