How to use an old lens on a new camera - using an adapter

In this video I`m trying an older lens on my new camera using an adapter that makes EF lenses work on a RF mount camera. It works out fine with this one, on autofocus and other settings. So the electronics was compatible this time. The adapter that I used here is an Autofocus adapter from Commlite.

Please show pictures to make your videos more interesting! Most people that don't understand these things as much want to see what it does and how it looks.

@@EHVisual Also what I meant by that is that even if you're talking about adapter and your old lens you should show pictures taken with the lens.

What about the autofocus after using the adapter? Does it work normally?

This lens works fine with the autofocus (canon EF 75-300mm is) - However I have experienced that not all lenses are compatible with the autofocus electronics in the adapter, for example the common ef-s 18-55mm is not. That only works manually. So there is not all that are totally compatible, but many are.
