October 4th, 1866 - The Siege of Amsterdam Led by the dashing, daring and right dastardly Edward Hastings, also known as the ‘Butcher of Bukhara’, The Edwardian Hussars, comprised of a motley, ad hoc brigade, or what some in the British high command called a ‘scrummage’ of British Dragoons and whatever Dutchmen he happened by, launched an peculiar assault on the outer fortifications of the Dutch capital city of Amsterdam. High, either off his impressive string of victories including the frequent and comical pummeling of the Dutch King, or a reported stash of poppies Hastings kept for unknown purposes, he expected an easy, quick and swift victory. However, the Dutch King, King William, had other plans. Utilising either divine intervention, demonic intervention or what one recent migrant to Romania called a ‘glitch in the matrix’, King William sent the Edwardian Hussars back in time. Near every time the forces of Edward Hastings was on the cusp of victory, they’d be pulled through an unseen vortex for the process of the Amsterdam siege to begin again. A total of four times this occurred, but Edward Hastings, who some in the Edwardian Hussars reported seeing his vampiric neural cybernetics going cyberpsycho, pressed onwards, and after the fourth occurrence and subsequent success on the next attempt, was seen screaming to the heavens and getting his entire scrummage to pound the ground and stomp their feet in a blasphemous, heretical, pagan and thus presumably catholic ritual, so that, and I quote, ‘God may hear them’. They apparently got the response they needed, as, in a report to the London Times, Edward Hastings declared he’d ‘saved’, and wouldn’t provide further comment. Such didn’t stop King William from continuing to utilise his strange Dutch magic, but Edward Hastings at least felt a ‘degree of security’, though he was subsequently noted to forever more keep a supply of Dutchmen along with him so that he may commit ritual sacrifice wherein he’d cut open their chests with a knife and pull out their still beating hearts, while his men engaged in an orgy with each other and whatever satyr happened by. It has been theorised by astute British scholars that this likely originates from the Mexican branch of Catholicism, though some equally astute scholars have also theorised its more likely the Irish branch of Catholicism.

In vanilla Warband you can speak to other vassals to ask where others are including her majesty (if they like you enough to tell you that is) should be able to regardless of the mod, or a lady in court, or view reports in the notes section through factions Love the videos mate keep it up

Hey there! Been following the adventures of Edward Hastings so far and I am impressed by his performance. Just a tip although I am not sure if this works in Between Empires, when you go to your notes tab and find Queen Victoria under factions it should show you where was the last time you had met her and how old the report is, which should help you with finally finding her. Alternatively you can give mister Hastings a bit of that Dutch cheaty power and use CTRL+T to be able to see everybody on the map to locate her. I truly hope Victoria will finally deem Hastings a worthy Vassal. Should she not, I believe Edward Hastings has now become more powerful than any ruler and can best her in combat to claim the empire for himself. Godspeed Edward Hastings and I am looking forward for the next video!

Judging by the fact you say King William threw a hissy fit causing your game to crash, you've made the dutch so upset beyond levels able to be comprehended they SHUT DOWN your game. Edward is truly amazing.

I swear I need to actually have the wiki url to that I am enjoying this series far too much I have individually liked...EVERY...SINGLE...VIDEO...OF THIS SERIES... I have developed a tea addiction started speaking in a british accent started chanting the King's Name 24/7 for no reason started wearing a victorian british uniform as pajamas and stopped wearing my retainer... (serious about the url, oh and if you don't want that microsoft runtime problem anymore, install warband script extender, you won't regret it, it also allows ya to have as much men in a battle as possible, with max graphics, and you can STILL not suffer crashes, this works for all mods as well :), I won't be giving the link since well, youtube banning the whole link thing so... yeah, love the series)

Oh no bro. I have experienced that and Victoria three and hearts of iron 4 and just thinking that dam my computer sucks.

Try applying the NTCore 4GB patch to the Warband EXE if you keep getting those runtime errors, I've found that's helped me with some mods that use a lot of memory.

I have played this mod a lot, while my files are for some reason more stable then yours, they also crash a absolute ton still but less than yours. Mine is usually fine at 200 players so idk what is up with yours

How does spaniel get between empires to crash so infrequently? He makes it feel like a normal mod instead of between empires. (The modder immediately stopped at version 1.0 of BE despite way too many bugs and this is on a 32 bit 14 year old base game)

I’m going to make it clear I’m not saying your computer is crap that’s not my right to judge I’m saying sometime these older game some reason newer systems do not like running on older games that where build on different systems like when 07 some games are good because they were built during a year when we 07 was the only thing then windows eight and windows nine I don’t think there was Windows nine sorry, never mind but overall windows 11 is the worst and I regret updating that to Windows 11 on my computer just my opinion about Windows 11
