I think you just get more accurate mouse input on 800 for some reason on here, I think it is an engine related thing and it's the same case on the game the division 2 and the the avatar game

I will be trying the settings when I get home. Have to admit, have not been enjoying xdefiant as mouse input is horrendous.

it feels really weird I think it's just due to the fact most games these days are designed with controller first and mouse is less of a priority for the dev team (which is really a shame you have to essentially find your own workarounds) higher dpi seems to skip pixels, I think it is some type of limitation within the game engine where there are movements being rounded to the next decimal point rather than the exact decimal value of a mouse sensor reading so you skip inputs (my technical explanation is probably off but within the ballpark)
