She was great and made things simple and spoke to the aduance as if she was really teaching us. Like didn't look down on us acutely explained things to us

Magnificent! I keep reminding myself that the availability and varieties of food products back than was vastly less than what we experience today!

Oh puhleeze -- it wasn't "vastly less". It was only 1965, not 1865. People ate much better back then and weren't nearly as obese as today. Perhaps we should all go back to what was available in 1965.

That’s my point! We ate foods that were seasonal (no strawberries in December, et cetera…) with less preservatives! We got along very well without balsamic vinegar and Himalayan Salt!

❤I wonder if there was a grocery store & maybe a butcher shop & a few other places in the Boston area (or the area she lived or shopped in) that proudly displayed a " Julia Child shops here" sign??? I'm thinking they might now for someone similar but will there ever be another who is as iconic as Julia or known so well for as long? ❤❤❤

Savenors, a butcher shop in Cambridge, MA where she lived, has her own very signature on the sidewalk, just in front of the entrance of the shop.
