Ty, I usually do my oxtail in the crock pot. Do you think it would be ok to do the prep/searing etc then use the crock pot for the long cook? I’m going to try it. I have some oxtail in the freezer waiting for me to cook.

I made this but as the oxtails were cooking I tasted the gravy and felt I needed more seasonings. So I added some garlic and onion powder, salt and pepper along with Jamaican Choice oxtails seasoning. I also added carrots and butter beans. Instead of the wine I added beef broth. The gravy is AAAHHHMAZING!!!

I ALWAYS follow a new recipe exact... then from there I can figure out if I need to change up anything (I usually don't because I'd usually screw it up)

Yes!!! We (I am Asian) wash our meat too!!! My friends were confused AF when I was shocked that they don’t wash their meat 😂 This looks sooo bomb! My colleague is from Ghana and he brings the bombest food to work and I m ready to learn! 😍😍😍🤤🤤🤤

I love the oxtail recipes. I haven`t had them for about fifteen years seeing different ways to prepare them is great. I will try some of them but I like the one with the rice and bean. God bless you all.

My dad use to make oxtails in a pressure cooker back in my younger days. Lol! Your recipe for oxtail stew looks absolutely delicious! I will make this soon for my family. This has given me some great seasoning shortcut tactics ,especially with gaging the heat of the scotch bonnets. With the exception of Sason, I hardly use pre mixed seasoning blends,but already knowing the heat intensity every time,genius.
