FILM DESCRIPTION:
Adolescent wizard-in-training Harry Potter returns to Hogwarts for another year of schooling and learns more about the dark past of the boy who grew up to become Lord Voldemort in this, the sixth installment of the film series that originated from the writings of author J.K. Rowling. There was a time when Hogwarts was thought of as a safe haven, but thanks to Voldemort's tightening grip on both the Muggle and wizarding worlds, that simply isn't the case anymore. Suspecting that the castle may even harbor an outright threat, Harry finds his investigation into the matter sidelined by Dumbledore's attempts to prepare him for the monumental battle looming ever closer on the horizon. In order to discover the key to Voldemort's defenses, Dumbledore enlists the aid of resourceful yet unsuspecting bon vivant Professor Horace Slughorn, who may have a clue as to their enemy's Achilles' heel. Meanwhile, teenage hormones cause the students at Hogwarts to lose focus on their true mission. As Harry and Dean Thomas clash for the affections of the lovely Ginny, Romilda Vane attempts to woo Ron away from Lavender Brown with some particularly tasty chocolates. Even Hermione isn't immune from the love bug, though she tries her hardest to suppress her growing jealousy and keep her emotions bottled up. But there is one student who remains completely aloof from the romance blossoming all around, and he intends to leave a dark impression on his classmates. With tragedy looming ever closer, it begins to appear as if peace will prove elusive in Hogwarts for some time to come.

Daniel is actually a pretty good actor. You can see that light, dazed kind of look on his face at 2:20 like "did she just kiss me??!!! Oh my god!!" And that's so understandable because throughout the book he has a major crush on her but had to hide his feelings because she was with someone else, and it'd be like back stabbing Ron. He seems so delighted and relieved that she's into him too, and she made the first move.

His acting in this entire series was actually really good. Re-watching the movies, I see all the little moments where Radcliffe's makes Harry more mature, quirky and unique than most teenagers.

Madhumitha JR meh, the rest of his acting, especially in the first 2 or 3 books, sucked tho. I think Lupin was the best actor, along with probably anyone but Daniel. Sorry, but in this series it just isn’t great.

I've never read the book but I think this one can't get better. It's obvious if you read the book first, you start comparing each other and ruin all the adrenaline rush. Kissing in front of 50 people for the first time: act of bravery mixed with a pinch of carelessness Kissing in a hidden hallway, where nobody comes, and a pleasant background music plays: bravery mixed with the feelings of cowardice. She says "that can stay hidden too if you want".... Which cannot be said in front of 50 people. Bravery and cowardice, 2 opposite features stats power-punched in a single, light kiss. Your heartbeat goes up the first time you kiss. That's the feeling director emphasised on. I don't belive it can be made better. ~BTW, English is not my forte, neither is my mother tongue, so pardon my English and also for the word "cowardice" I used. Couldn't come up with a better word. ~And yes, forget the first kiss, my heartbeat goes up whenever I see girls who are sensual or those who stole glanced at me. 😂😂

I know most people think this scene was poorly made cause it wasn’t the same as in the book, but I still think it was a beautiful scene. After a scary situation Ginny is there for Harry in his time of need and they finally are able to give in to their deep feelings for each other and in the end both are feeling happy with their hearts soaring! A beautiful scene.

I love how Ginny is the dominant one here, telling Harry what to do and he just dutifully obeys. She has more dating experience and she knows Harry is awkward when it comes to girls, so it makes sense for her to take the lead. I also think it's more meaningful than in the book because here Ginny is saving him from the influence of the Potions book, like how he saved her from Riddle's diary.

+Chloe Natalia Perez Well, in the book they kiss when Harry walks into the Gryffindor common room after serving a detention with Snape, the Gryffindors were having a celebration for their victory in their quidditch game that evening, Harry having detention could not participate in the match, anyways so Ginny announces to Harry that they won and then she hugged him because she was feeling very content and then Harry kissed her.

I know a lot of guys found Emma Watson attractive but I used to have a crush on Bonnie Wright. I always thought Bonnie was much more beautiful than Emma. My favourite Ginny scene is when she sat beside Harry Half Blood Prince and when she said 'Don't you trust me?' it made me wish I WAS Harry. After so many years, still like this scene. I can't help but love Ginny, both from books and movies, she is so amazing character I'm screaming every time she kisses him in this scene, and then step away with these words. Also like her confidence in the Half-blood Prince, how she was calmly showing her feelings and caringness. With all my honesty, I wanna have girlfriend or even just friend like Ginny so bad

I pulled this with my boyfriend (he's never seen Harry Potter but he knows I'm a big fan of it) it was our first date and he was walking me to the door I told him to take my hand, the door to my house was locked and he asked if I keep a spare key, I said yes...but then I wondered would he sneak in and scare me on like Halloween or something cause he is a prankster! I told him I'd find it...but first I said "Alright...close your eyes, so you can't be tempted" He rolled his eyes not knowing what I was referring to he closed his eyes, I took the key from under the doormat and then I kissed him and jokingly said "That can stay hidden too if you want"

in the books the kiss is way better and is a shame that they didn't put it into the movie, they kissed without thinking about it in front of everyone after they won the quiditch cup and when harry saw ginny (harry wasn't in the game because he was in detention) he kissed her in front of everybody without thinking about it. anyway I still love them together in the movies they are so cute

I like that Harry's less resistant to giving up the book in this movie. After he uses Sectumsempra on Malfoy, he allows his friends to talk sense into him, especially Ginny. Her telling him, "You have to get rid of it. Now." in the scene preceding this was a nice lead-in to this scene here. Ginny's there for Harry at a very vulnerable moment, helping him to get rid of a book that's very bad for him, and which he would be too scared to do on his own. Exactly like Harry did for Ginny in Chamber of Secrets. This scene is the two of them really bonding through relating to each other's vulnerability, and I love that.

Ginny is also a better person here than she was in the book, where she defended the Sectumsempra spell as "something good" and didn't object to Harry planning to go back for the book later, whereas here she knows the book is dangerous and convinces Harry to give it up.

although this differs from the book, i actually appreciate harry and ginny's private kiss as opposed to an open public make out. especially for a first kiss, it reveals a much deeper romance and sentiment that ron and lav can never have - because it hasn't been developed. their make out is just sheer excitement and spur of the moment where feelings between harry and ginny have been building FOR SIX BOOKS. i guess that's why more of you prefer their glorious moment.... maybe i'm just old fashioned. not that i dislike their moment of excitement after quidditch, i just feel that a private first kiss is more intimate.

They actually made Harry more soft as compared to book Harry... In movies Harry hides Half Blood Prince's book because he feels that the Prince book is dangerous after sectumsempra incident while actually in books Harry hides it because he doesn't want Snape to find it and take the book away from him and even says that Prince made that sectumsempra curse for personal reasons so the book isn't dangerous when Hermione says that the book is dark and harmful...

Harry and Ginny are an amazing couple but they don't really seem to be hiding feelings for each other. The books is better. But I like the ending. They have three children- James Sirius Potter, Albus Severus Potter and Lily Luna Potter. I totally ship them.

@Beastpower64 Yes finally someone said it. It's also worth noting that the main reason why Ginny was even attracted to Harry was because he was "The boy who lived". In reality we know that Harry *hates* having that title. Him marrying a fangirl who had a celebrity crush on him is just so... ugh. Then there's the fact that Ginny is pretty much a Mary Sue because she's just good at everything in the Half Blood Prince, wouldn't Harry be turned off by that? In conclusion I have no bad feelings to people who ship Harry and Ginny but in my opinion it's one of the worst pairings. I would've been happier if Harry was still single at the end of the series than marrying Ginny.

I agree. I like this change that the film made. I don't like this moment more in the movie than in the books because it makes the moment more... private between them 2. When I read the book later I felt very uncomfortable when they did it in front of the whole common room, a moment like this should be more private when they are alone

I honestly can’t show any interest in the Ginny from the books, it’s almost boring because of the fact that she’s got that fire like all the other girls in the book. The Ginny in the movies is my above all favorite. I can connect to her in some way due to her personality. The Ginny in the movies is serene and patient, she’s got that sense of instant forgiving, a feeling of mystery. You can’t tell what’s around the next bend, she’s ever changing and full of surprises. I could honestly go on about this for days, but I shall stop myself from talking about the brilliantly put together girl. :)
