I'm so happy for its oscar nomination, it truly opens a wider door for people around the world including myself to get to know some beautiful things from bhutan especially lunana, a part of the world that maybe many of us don't have the opportunity to visit yet. I'm so happy that the academy recognized this film, congratulations to Pawo and all the crew for all your hardwork, for succeeding in making this film, I'm so glad that we all are able to see you through this film and this nomination❤

@make a wish it's okay, we are content with our movie being nominated for the Oscar's despite being a small budget film from a very small country not very known to the world. It created history for Bhutan and brought her on a global platform.

This is a grew film Undoubtedly. But Drive my car will win the foreign category. Besides, a bengali director won a oscar who is Satyajit Ray for Pather Panchali.

@@joser1853 have you really seen drive my car? it was the most boring movie ever seen in my life. it was monotonous after certain point with nothing really happening in the story. you can call it docudrama of rehearsal sessions for a play

I love the visuals of this movie..the mountains and forests are beautiful..! I come from nepal, I am from mugu. mugum which is similar to the language Tibetan which is similar to Bhutanese. So I could know some words here and there. Our class teacher today got us in the computer lab to watch the movie only half..hoping to watch it tomorrow too.
