This is one of my favorite books. I hope you will read series of books about the Logan family. I believe that Mildred D. Taylor's books are our "Little House of the Prairie".

I love seeing these types of videos. Brenna is the same age as my son so it’s nice to hear from their perspective because some times the things mom is so excited about didn’t resonate the same with our kids. Roll of thunder is on our list to do in the fall so I’m glad thankful to see this video because I’ve been on the fence about purchasing Moving beyond the page units because of the price aspect and it not being a good fit.

I enjoyed you and your daughter's review. I like that you included her voice in the review. We have done a few literature studies from MBTP and loved it. Would you consider making this your core curriculum? I noticed that you stop the other curriculum when you do these studies.

Thank you! Honestly this alone I don’t personally believe it would give all that is needed for a full ELA curriculum. They offer all of the components in small doses. Adding in a few extension/supplements would be a great addition to flesh it all the way for a complete ELA approach.

Have you used any of the correlating social studies or science units? I'm thinking of switching to MBtP for a full curriculum next year and there are almost no reviews on YT 😫
