Hi I'm Kevin Grolig, a Real Estate Agent with Compass in Montgomery County, Maryland. Thinking about moving to Bethesda? Let me tell you about the 7 reasons why it's a GREAT place to live! Bethesda, MD is one of the most convenient locations in Montgomery County, MD. It is also one of the most expensive locations in MoCo. It borders Washington, DC which makes for a super easy commute to the Nation's Capital. I have lived here all my life and am now in my early 20s starting my own business here as well. One thing to note is that "easy access to outdoor recreation" might mean close proximity but don't expect to drive there between 2pm-7pm without getting a headache. Plenty of nice hikes around the area to try but the traffic to and from often discourages day hikes. Go early in the morning before rush hour and leave before the 2pm traffic starts up.

I stayed in Bethesda while visiting Washington DC. I feel in love with Bethesda but I’m too poor to move there 😭

One of the most wealthiest, powerful city in America, nobody knows about LOL. This is THE PLACE where presidents of America are "evaluated" . After Kennedy assassination, his autopsy was performed here. America's Naval Sea Systems Command is located here. The largest aerospace defense corp in the world lockheed martin is here plus marriot hotel chain HQ. Something is going on Bethesda

So basically, you'll need an income of 96K per month to even be halfway comfortable, to live there.

Thanks for checking out my video Charles. $96k may be a little bit of a stretch but it really depends where you are in MoCo and what you define comfortable as. I freely admit it is a pricey area but there’s also a lot of opportunity for upward mobility. 👍👍
