IKEA Here in Israel doesn’t necessarily have all of the same inventory that you find in the US but it is convenient to purchase here. Remember that your living space may be smaller in Israel and your US furniture might be too big or heavy to fit the room. Plus Israeli furniture usually has a lot of clever space savers like built in storage or bunk beds. Good luck! Best move ever!!

the best part about israeli ikea is it's kosher so you can revive yourself with some food, especially on your way out the 2 shekel, self serve, pareve ice cream cones makes the maze a lot better!

The best part about shopping at IKEA in Israel is the restaurants are all strictly kosher, affordable, and tasty. We look forward to welcoming you to Israel!

We bought all our things in Israel, it was to expensive to ship what we had also we moved from a large house in England to a apartment in Jerusalem but bh we are really happy wish all the best

Israeli beds (bunks too) will have under bed pullout beds and storage for bedding/toys. Plus one wall must be for a closet. Mostly shelves, a few drawers. You'll store in every nook you can...If you have 2 restrooms you'll be pleased. Appliances have to fit your needs AND space. Depending on your location food shopping might have home delivery for a price...You're going on a big adventure - enjoy it 🎉

Also, in Israel, some ikea stores have more selection. The one near Beit Shemesh is good for kitchen items, but was barely stocked with cabinets. You can check availability online, though.

Also, we in Efrat have a giveaways list, and a buy/sell. Lotta great furniture and steals and deals. Oh, and the food is kosher in Israeli Ikea stores.

Some recommendations: in israel we have outlet centers were you can shop at the best shops at an outlet price , the most known stores to buy from are: עצמלה , ביתילי ,Ikea, max stock , fox home (sometimes its easier to buy in a israeli store especially if you keep kosher because in those stores you have items for those purposes, like blue and red utensils

Etz Malei has an outlet store in Modiin. They have some items with much better prices. They used to have mattresses for 100 shekels but I don't know if everything was bought up at the start of the war for the tens of thousands of misplaced persons.

Just catching up some video from you guys. Been a bit out of sorts. I enjoyed watching you and the family. Are you guys taking a container with you? I can say that a lot of American furniture will not fit in your new home. We made that mistake. Best to shop there and get what you need. Life will be so fun and new. Lots to adjust to and overcome but BzH, you all will do well and find much joy. I am so happy for you.

I recommend that you stock up on favorite make up ( can be frustrating nòt to find favorite brand or see double price) also perfume, shoes... cute clothes. .it's hot there so need to change often ;)... I would buy spices like pumpkin pie, all spice...etc...

We have IKEA in Israel. It is too expensive to ship furniture. I spent $10,000 and I got rid of most of what I shipped. Unless you have someone paying for it. Some employers will pay for your shipment.

We have Ikea in Israel. Shipping is expensive. You don't need to ship stuff that you can buy in Israel. I wouldn't bring furniture unless its something antique that was your grandma's and is sentimental to you. Also, the appliances here are more suitable to Israeli houses.

Not only Ikea in Israel doesn't have everything, unfortunately prices are exactly double. I did that mistake when I moved to Israel and was so disappointed to see high prices and not everything available.... and indo recommend that you stock up on favorite make up etc. Because it can be frustrating not to find favorite brand or see double prices...

I dont know whats your budget limits are but I would encourage you to buy some furniture from Israeli companies like (עצמלא) that has alot of kids furniture from wood . When I was little my mom bought me and my sister a bonk bed that can be divided to two beds wonce we were bigger and wanted more privacy . Also I think the ikea prices are so high in Israel that its not even worth it to buy from them...
