(Daniel 7:13) Brit HaChadasha (the New Covenant) Jeremiah 31:30-33 "Behold, days are coming, says the Lord, and I will form a covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah, a new covenant. Not like the covenant that I formed with their forefathers on the day I took them by the hand to take them out of the land of Egypt, that they broke My covenant, although I was a lord over them, says the Lord. It's good that you were wanting to really seek out answers for yourself, and not just blindly follow a religion because you were raised with it. But we must be careful not to teach man-made doctrines (i.e. from a denomination, religious leaders, etc.) as if they're commandments from Hashem. I was brought up learning and living according to the Torah. I left that to be a Christian for many years. I return to my roots now. Please know that Judaism also practice some pagan practices, such as the breaking of glass at a Jewish wedding. Lots of the beliefs in Judaism come from Scandinavia folklores, so check it out. Moses was not a Jew, he was a Hebrew. He led the Hebrews out of Egypt into the Land of Promise that was given to Avraham, our Great Grand Father. His grand son Jacob and his twelve sons went down to Egypt as Hebrews, not Jews, and the returned to Canaan after spending almost four hundred years in Egypt, and a good number of years in bandage. There were no practices of Judaism in the Land of Israel before the Assyrian and Babylonian Captivities, so if you read upon your history, you will see that Judaism started during the Babylonian Captivity in Persia. Jews that return to build that wall and temple brought the practice of Judaism to Israel. We are the children of the original Hebrew Israelites people. The Jews had to go to a high priest offer animal sacrifices at the temple and it was the priest that performed the ceremony so the regular Jew couldn't just say a prayer and be forgiven. Jesus is the high priest and He is the one that you go to and He has already offered His body as the sacrifice instead of you offering an animal. But now Jews for some reason don't do sacrifices at Temple so I am wondering why it is ok now but wasn't ok back then. I love this couple so I'm watching to see what they say.

That's a good point. That's the main issue I have with Judaism today. If you cannot perform sacrifice since the Bet Hamikdash has been destroyed, how do you perform valid rites? That puzzles me, honestly. Last week, I watched a teaching from a francophone rabbi, about sin, that left me perplex. He basically said, jews have a pure soul because it stands with Hashem by default.(When someone converts to Judaism they receive a Jewish soul and become a new person). What they do right is counted in their favor but what they do wrong is not counted against them. And I couldn't help but think that's a little too convenient. It didn't make sense to me considering God punished the Hebrews and put them repeatedly into slavery for centuries for their disobedience, for worshipping pagan gods, allowed the temple to be destroyed, and sent them in exile at the end. Those 2 elements put side by side don't make sense to me. But I keep listening to their lessons. I find it interesting. Maybe I'll come across a lesson that will explain sin in a more satisfying manner.

The fact that the patriarchs sacrificed is irrelevant because it was only when the temple was built and established, did it become practiced by the population at large. Moses received the Torah and it has the instructions to do the sacrificing the way Hashem required. Abraham predated this so obviously he did it differently. Jesus did not alter this. The gospels did so in essence they made the religion you call christianity.

From my understanding Jesus executed all commendments including not eating non kosher food but he gave a remark that the commendment of not eating is less important. He never said he was G-d but if he was not G-d than what authority did he have to judge which commendment is more important and which is not?

However Jesus uses very specific wording, Himself godly attributes and He clearly associates Himself to God the Father. The real question is, has any prophet or any holy man of any kind done all these things below? Elijah? Samuel ? Isaiah? Jeremiah? So there are only the following options left: - either you believe Jesus and conclude He IS God; - either you don't believe Him and consider He's a liar and a blasphemer; - or you believe He's a mental health candidate. Orthodox is the only version of Judaism which has survival. All other versions are extinct. The reformers of Judaism in the eighteenth century, have no Jewish descendants. The ancient movements of Judaism, likewise.

Being a "Torah observant Christian" is not being Torah observant at all, and whatever you're doing and believing is heresy in Judaism. So please don't try spreading your ways to Jews. Today’s modern Messianic movement can be traced back to the 1960s. The majority of Messianic “Jews” have no Jewish ancestry whatsoever but seek to proselytize Jews all the same. Every single Jewish movement (e.g. Reform, Conservative, Orthodox) and sub-ethnic group (e.g. Ashkenazim, Sepharadim, Mizrahim) considers Messianic “Judaism” to be inherently incompatible with Judaism. An important thing to note: to be a member of a tribe, the tribe has to claim you back. Not a single group of Jews claims Messianic “Jews.”
