We are back again for Episode 4 of our "Moving to Israel Vlog!" In this vlog, we talk about some of the steps to take to make Aliyah. With the rise of all of the anti-semitism in our world today, it's becoming clearer each day that the safest place for the Jewish people is Eretz Yisrael.
We encourage anyone who may be interested in making aliyah to contact ‪@nefeshbnefesh‬. They are a phenomenal organization who helps you every step of the way throughout your aliyah process.
At 13:10 Akiva mentions flights…
To clarify: Regarding Booking flights:
(From NBN.org.il)
OBTAINING APPROVAL & REQUESTING A FLIGHT
Once you have been approved for the Jewish Agency Aliyah Flight Benefit, Nefesh B’Nefesh will invite you to request your flight through an easy flight request webform. Then, you will be responsible for paying for the ticket processing fee per person utilizing the Aliyah Flight Benefit.
Don’t hesitate to contact NBN for any further assistance.
Thank you guys so much for watching! We love you very much.

The Zionists (and with them most Jews) claim that they have merely repossessed the land of their forefathers. However, it is a well-established fact that over ninety percent of today’s Jews have no ethnic ties to the original Hebrews - and therefore no historical claim to Palestine. They are Ashkenazi Jews and therefore descendants of a Hunnish Turkic people: At the height of their power, the Khazars controlled the land between the Black and Caspian Seas and adopted Judaism as their state religion around the year 740. How these warlike nomads became the Ashkenazim of Eastern Judaism can be read in various academic books.

The apostille was the most aggravating for me. I think I had to do that on my birth certificate and on my FBI background check. For those who don’t understand it, essentially you can’t give Israel something from the state of Arizona for instance. Because it’s a legal document from Arizona, but Israel has no way of verifying if this is a real document. So getting a federal apostille is essentially the United States of America assuring Israel that this is a valid document recognized by them. The documents are always a headache. You submit 50 of them. They need verification on ones. It’s just never ending. But once you guys come out here, it’ll be worth it. Trust me. It’ll all be worth it.

Yes!!!, exactly. This is how my myself, my adult children and my grandchildren are feeling. The hatred is making us prouder than ever. One of my 9 year old granddaughters, Ezrah told me that she was not afraid to be Jewish. That all of her friends knew and a lot of people at her school also know, but she is proud and knows how to defend herself. I was extremely proud of her for telling me this. Now I will say that we are in Texas and things are a little different here, but she does not know that. She is proud. Toda raba for sharing. I am glad to see more Jews standing their ground. We will not cower. Am Yisrael Chai!!!

And how appropriate it is that the FIRST chag you will get to spend in Israel after being toiveled and "made official" is SHAVUOS!!! How cool, right??!! I think it is, at least, 😆) Welcome to the tribe! May you live long and well with us and prosper in good health! Another reason I think it is a cool coincidence that your first shabbat and chag is Shavuot.... There is a Medrash about Guerim that when Hashem gave us the Torah, some of the people in the VERY FAR back couldn't hear what he was saying, so it took a while for some people to get the message, and that is why we have converts (but we don't proselytize, of course!)!

I recommend you take a pilot trip to see where you would like to live. Eg a moshav or kibbutz could suit your family - as they're great places for kids to grow up... also just rent to start with, as until you live in a place you wont know if it really will suit you... many people try one place to start with, find it's not for them and then move to a different neighbourhood or even a completely different part of the country and it's perfect for them

You might not have to worry about helicopters circling your college campuses in Irivine, but you will possibly have to worry about bombs, terrorism, and political strife in Israel. Life is not about the destination but the journey and it is a sprint, not a marathon. Shalom, God bless, and I am glad you are making the choice to move to Israel. I hope to do the same as a Christian brother to the Jews whom I love. (Yeshayhu 40:1-5)

Hello… I went through all of that! Frustrating and apprehensive… but you will get through it. ❤️ However…. Aliyah is not over when you land here. It’s just starting. Do you have anyone here? It will be very difficult if you don’t know someone here… especially Hebrew speaking that will help you. Trust me… I know. I was lucky to have family here. So many crazy things to do when you arrive! It takes months.

I did not make aliyah but I considered it. Two favorite Israeli words: balagon savlanut Israelis don't want you to complain about the balagon. They tell you to have savlanut but they don't have any.

I met many American olim in Jerusalem and Safed who speak English all day. One woman told me that she takes her kids with her to speak in Hebrew and she has given up learning Hebrew. She said she was like her Yiddish speaking grandparents, the greenhorns who came to America, only with her, it is English, not Yiddish. I didn't want to go to Israel and be greenhorn.

I grew up in Irvine /Costa Mesa. No it's not a safe city. There are the issues. I had the highschool drive by shooting back in 1993. It's also one of the largest Muslim population and was also rampant with antisemitism and aryans growing up. It feels safe because it's clean, developing, and just a nice place but so much unseen. Not to mention we border Santa Ana.

House Of LEV family, I say this to you all. Enjoy living as a family of wondeful Jews. "2 Maccabees 6:6 “Neither was it lawful for a man to keep sabbath days or ancient fasts, or to profess himself at all to be a Jew.” Bless You All, Baruch HaShem Le'Olam.

When you hear a helicopter in the sky here in Israel, you know it's on your behalf. You have a fortified room in your apartment in the event of rockets. I don't think most people in the rest of the world have a fortified room to protect them from people who think it's fine to loot, if not worse. As is most often the case, living in Israel is quite different than portrayed in the media.

Where will you live in Israel? How will you earn money?
@houseoflev
@houseoflev 2 ай бұрын
Looking at Beit Shemesh. How will we earn money…? 💰 Please don’t take this as my being rude or disrespectful my friend. But the same way I rely on Hashem “earn” money here in California is the same way I Will rely on Hashem to earn money in Israel. If He is taking care of my family here in America, we trust that He would take great pleasure in taking care of us in the Land He gave us. As long as we do our hishtadlut (effort)… and He will do the rest. 🙌 “How” we will earn is by relying on Hashem and knowing that He wants to take care of us. This is why it’s important for us to only get advice from people who have emunah. How do we know who has emunah and who doesn’t? … if you feel depressed, discouraged, 🫤, sad, deflated, & doubtful after hearing their advice…. They lack emunah. But if you’re feeling, hopeful, encouraged, positive, happy, empowered… it’s very clear that they have emunah. Hope this makes sense 😉👍🏾
